As I wind down my Dune novel marathon, I have started grabbing some Buffy novels to begin reading next.

I had already been gifted the Next Generation trilogy, so I'll read that next.

But yesterday I picked up two standalone novels, Prime Evil and Obsidian Fate, along with some omnibus/collected editions.

I got

The Lost Slayer series:
-Prophecies
-Dark Times
-King of the Dead
-Original Sins

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Volume 1:
-Coyote Moon
-Night of the Living Rerun
-Portal Through Time

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Volume 2:
-Halloween Rain
-Bad Bargain
-Afterimage

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Volume 3:
-Carnival of Souls
-One Thing or Your Mother
-Blooded

Should keep me busy for quite a while, though I expect to rip through these much faster than the Dune novels which are considerably longer on average.

I like the collected volumes. Got 13 novels in 4 books. Gonna try to hunt down a collected volume of the Gatekeeper Trilogy at some point as well.

Managed to find the entire Gatekeeper Trilogy in one hardcover volume for 12 bucks, and bought the Kiersten White books (Slayer and Chosen) as well.

Should be more than enough to keep me busy for the rest of the year.

I’ve been looking for cheap version of Volume 3! Carnival of Souls and One Thing or your Mother are so hard to find!

I’m going through Gatekeeper Trilogy now in my thread. But as you go through them, post your thoughts here! I look forward to reading them!!

It will be a bit before I start since I still have some Dune stories to finish off, but I might start alternating Buffy and Dune novels at some point.

In general the Brian Herbert-Kevin Anderson Dune books get considerably better as they get newer, but right now I have two of their earliest ones to read (Paul of Dune and Winds of Dune) and I may need a break. The later books from those two are so much better than their early stuff (though even their best stuff falls many levels short of Frank Herbert's original six).

How do you feel about ebooks?

Because here's carnival of souls on internet archive

And I don't have one thing or your mother by itself, but here's vol 3 which has that, carnival of souls, and I forgot what else.
