Name a tv show you would NEVER watch again. Not ever.

Yeah, I get that. A lot of people can't get past the laugh track. I totally understand that.
I can pretty much tune it out at this point because I have been watching Friends, since I was born lol.
So the laugh track doesn't bother me, I laugh when I find something funny which is sometimes when there is no laughter to tell me to do so and sometimes I don't laugh when the laugh track is going on in the background.
I grew up in the 60s and 70s, so the laugh track was ubiquitous. while I don't care for it, I learned to ignore it on shows I enjoyed, but... The laugh track may well be part of why I tended to watch dramas more for years, though... I think on some level, found the whole thing kind of jarring BEFORE I got into a show... so there are probably shows I didnt' begin watching while they were on at least partly because of it... I didn't really think of it at the time, however. I was also an overly serious kid.

I guess I'm the only one who likes The Big Bang theory and the laugh tracks don't bother me. I've always known I'm pretty unique. 😀

My attachment to The Big Bang Theory is Sheldon Cooper, I feel like I'm watching my son as an adult because he's such a Sheldon. I also adore Young Sheldon - perhaps more than The Big Bang Theory.

Shows I can't watch again are drama and gorey ones, the only shows I rewatch are clean sitcoms mostly because I watch them while eating.

I like Big Bang Theory too. I mean it's not my favorite sitcom or anything, but if it's on I'm def gonna tune in.
I don't follow it, but what I have seen is funny.
I also don't take sitcoms too seriously. Like I don't analyze sitcoms the way I analyze dramas, noir, supernatural, etc.

You might would like The Office or Parks & Rec if you like sitcoms but don't like the laugh track.
I just started watching both of those this year.
I used to vow to never watch those because of the weird they were filmed, but once I got past that, I actually really adore both shows now.

And I agree about That 70's show from your other post. It started to really suck (for lack of a better term) when Eric and Kelso left. It just wasn't same.

Yes, I agree. Sitcoms are not meant to be taken seriously. The characters are just clowns making fun of each other. I think the only time it bothered me and I thought that characters were mean was the way the Parks and Rec characters treated Jerry. Other sitcoms like That 70s Show, Friends and The Big Bang Theory, all the characters give as good as they get, so I mostly laugh along.

OMG I am watching Parks & Rec right now. Like it's literally on in the background. And I feel so sorry for Jerry!!
