Let's pretend I can go to your hometown and I can see just one building, park or something like that..
What would you recommend??

If anyone would come to Lodz I would show you our Poznanski Palace- now thre's Musum of history of Lodz, but it's really beautiful inside(nice plave to live)

Remember just one place!!!
 
errrr... well where i live in the UK its a really unknown place in the lake district called Barrow-In-Furness. i think that i would probably take you to Lake Windemere thats pretty beautiful (well as close as you could get round here anyways)
 
If it was the town I am from I'd take you to Shakespeare's Birthplace 'cos it's near Stratford.

If it was the town I live in I'd show you the road out 'cos it's a dump 🙂(well, OK Lincoln Cathedral then is reasonably close and very historic and striking)
 
Home town?? Well actualy I dont think there much to see here besides holywood, disneyland or what ever.....
But one place, Taipei durring the festival of lights its breath taking!!
 
home town? uh.....I don't know what's IN my hometown anymore (btw: moved away from it when I was 3...) but the only thing I can think of from there would hafta be the Toledo Zoo (from Toledo Ohio) and that's all I know that's really actually there...lol
 
I would probably show you Sydney Harbour which is about 10 mins from my home town. But I dont currently live there! If i had to go with my temporary home town i would show you Battersea Bridge and Albert Bridge which is South London. They are very pretty bridges and Battersea Bridge was in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels!
 
My town is completely boring, but if i could show you anywhere i't be the chapel on the bridge because i's soooo old, and the bridge is the prettiest bit here.

I would have to show you Monument Valley.... It'sa few hours away, but the best thing i can think of.

I'd show you High Falls. It's a waterfall right smack dab in the middle of downtown Rochester, and although it is only about six foot wide it is over twice as high as Niagra Falls. Rochester as a whole is a bit of a dump, but the High Falls are really neat. Not every day you see a waterfall downtown! 🙂

As an added freak-factor bonus, the High Falls are part of the Genesee River, which is one of the few rivers in the world that (like the Nile in Egypt) runs south to north, emptying into Lake Ontario.
 
I would recommend that you go to the Glendale Galleria area. Not only does it have the mall, but a couple of movie theaters, a Borders bookstore and Tower Records.
 
i would bring you on top of Mont-Royal, from there you can see almost the whole city of Montreal! its breath-taking in the winter 😀
 
Well, I live in Portugal now but my hometown will always be Antwerpen in Belgium. I would probably take you for a tour around the historic centre of the city and a visit to Ruben's house (the flemish painter). It has the most peaceful and romantic garden !
 
I can't really show you anything awesome. But the biggest nearby city is worth the while, on the other hand, showing you me, is worth the while too.

My friend used to live right on top of niagra falls, because when she came back to england i was going

LOL i can't belive it was niagra falls, i must seem so stupid.
 
if you were comming to my home town, i would recommend you go to the fortress twon, and see that.. it's the best preserved old town in north europe.(some buildings date back to the late 1700s, but there has been some big fires in the old days(one in the 1830s), so some or alot newer). it quite amazing.. cos it's not just a museum place it's a living town, with stores, cafes and people who live in all the old houses(a friend of mine grew up there!)

there was a war faought there as well, well a part of a war that started in 1809. it was between sweeden and norway.

If you had to see one place fom my hometown (Gosport, nr. Portsmouth) it would have to be Stanley park. It's the most gorgeous place in Gosport - esp in the summer! And just through the trees is the beach - another gorgeous place! Shame it's a stone beach though.

I love where I live!
