Ive noticed that on Buffy, Joss always thinks of out of the ordinary names. (sorry to affend you if you have a Buffy characters name) but its true, and i wish i had a more less popular name than Lee. Anyway, i thought we could start this thread about strange or out of the oridnary names youve heard of.

Well, my name is Phaedra, and it really is an odd name, no one ever pronounces it right (it's pronounced Faye-dra), and sometimes people think I'm ethnic, but really, I'm 100% Canadian, my parents just liked the name! 😀
It's from Greek mythology, btw.. the sister of Ariadne, one of Theseus' wives, who killed herself when her stepson, Hipplolytus, rejected her romantic advances. Really not a good story..

Well, I just love unusual names, and I already have some picked out for when I have kids.
Lets see: Piper, Skye, Jax, Sidda, Rhiannon, Jade, Afton, Lulu, Mason, Joleen, Manda....and many more, just need to go to bed. LOL and no, i don't plan on having that many children, but I do plan on 5, alteast 3.

A girl in my class is called Hebe, her sister is called Phaedra aswell, her other sister is called Nike (not like the brand, it's pronounce differently, I don't know any phonethics sorry) and her brother is called Woedro, how's that for original!
