Nanowrimo

Are any BBers crazy enough to try to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days this year?

I'm attempting nanowrimo for the first time this year. So far it's going okay, but this is only day one. 😛

Wow, I'd never heard of nanowrimo but it sounds interesting and ambitious. If I had more free time I'd be tempted to try it for fun.

I have never done the NaNoWriMo but kudos to those who do.
If you ever want info on how to write. Or if you want to gain inspiration from chatting to other people that are doing NaNoWriMo, go to Kelley Armstrong.com
There are a lot of people there who are usually only to happy to help one another.
Kelley is a gifted writer herself, having written 30+ books (I'm not sure how many). A big part of the forums is geared towards helping those who like writing.
Kelley also wrote several of the Angel comics. You'll find that there are quite a few folk who like Buffy who frequent the forums there.

Every year (this year especially) I always plan on doing Nanowrimo, but then when November comes around, I find that I'm just too busy to do it, or I just don't have that inspiration anymore. 🙁

One of these years I will do it though. 😉 Good luck!
