One of my goals this year is to lose *mumblemumble* pounds by August, so I'm always looking for low-fat, low-calorie, yummy recipes to add variety to the lots and lots of chicken and pasta I'm eating (bo-ring). Luckily for me, Nathan Fillion recently tweeted his recipe for vegetarian 7-layer bean dip. And because I'm watching my calorie intake so carefully, I ran it through a recipe builder so you can see exactly what the nutritional breadown is. Enjoy!

My calculations:

(Mine is only a medium-sized Tupperware container instead of a full casserole dish. Great for keeping all to yourself and munching at home.)

Ha. And here I thought "Nathan, with his bean dip" was a stood for something else that I didn't get. Happy to have that cleared up. 🙂

What is bean dip, it looks good in the pics, are you meant to have it with something, or cook it at all?

No cooking. It's usually eaten with chips of some kind. Fillion suggests the Mission Rounds because they're really thick and can stand up to the heartiness of the dip.
