Nathan Fillion's "Castle"

Everyone else might already know about it, but I was just watching the latest episode of "Dollhouse" on one of those sites we're not supposed to mention, and there was an advertisement for a new sreies starting in just a couple of days starring Nathan. Am I the only one here who didn't know about this?

It's a cop show. something vaguely like "Bones," in that he's teamed up with an attractive lady non-cop type. It appears to be straight reality type stuff, the typical old story about the cop who relies soulely on his street smarts and gut instinct teamed (reluctantly) with the new scientific partner. I could be wrong, however, about that last bit. The spot was only about 20 seconds long. Anyhow, ABC, this Monday, 8PM EST. Everybody better be there, cause I'm gonna be taking names.

I'll at least give it a chance. Seems to be a little silly/funny but not great. But on the other hand promos and the actual show is rarely the same.

I saw a short clip of the show from some talkshow with Nathan as a guest (doing promotion for the show I guess)

It looked quite funny. Hard to tell from such a short clip though.
I might check it out.

As most of you have noticed by now, I got the roles reversed. SHE'S the cop, and HE'S the non-cop. Sorry about that.

There are quite a few threads already about it...

But... I cant wait! It looks like the kind of show that works really well...ie...high ratings. Nothing sci-fi, just drama that works well...which means Fillion can finally fulfill his role!

I've known about this for awhile. Don't know how it'll be, but it looks funny enough to warrant a try at least.

Well, it's the morning after the night before. I saw it, and I thought that it was pretty good, if somewhat of a cliche'. It reminds me somehow of the old "Remington Steele" show, though I can't exactly put my finger on why.

If you missed the premier Monday evening, you can still see it on abc.com, which is, obviously, the network's own site and therefore completely legal.
