Need help for my wedding from the Buffy Boards!

So here is the deal. I fortunately have talked my future wife into letting me have a Buffy cake topper for our reception, (also btw we will be entering to the Buffy Theme) but here is my problem, should it be Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike. I figure I would let the Buffy boards decide so I have put up a poll. I will be getting married in 3 months so I'll let it go for about 6 weeks and then make the decision from there. Please tell all your friends to come and vote.

I got a feeling Buffy and Spike will win this. You might want to go with the winner of the poll but I personally would decide from the kind of "vibe" it sends out. Sure not a big deal in itself but you have to go by something right? Since neither of them are among my favourite couples I make my decision this way. Bangel stands for romantic and sweet while Spuffy is more hot and sexy. Not like any of those are bad vibes but on a weddingcake I'd go with Bangel. So they got my vote.


edit: And if you're gonna go with true love discussion (you noticed that I left that out right?) the choice is easy. Then Tillow is the way to go. But I got a feeling that might not suit in this case. 😉

Well, let's look at the pros and cons of each relationship. 😛

PROS: Buffy/Angel

They'll love each other forever.
They're very good friends. (IDK if I could say best friends.)

CONS: Buffy/Angel

There is a chance of Angel turning evil, which may result in Buffy killing Angel(us.)
The relationship, albeit sweet at times, is mostly depressing.
Angel has had many side relationships over the course of Buffy/Angel: Cordelia, Nina, Darla, Kate

PROS: Buffy/Spike

Spike would do anything for Buffy.
They love each other.
They're basically best friends.

CONS: Buffy/Spike

Can't think of any. 😛

So, I guess Spuffy wins after all. =D

Well obviously you're a spuffy fan, but I'd definitely go with Angel/Buffy. They're a handsome looking couple after all, and since they are so going to end up together eventually it only makes sense to use them 😉

well i mean like i said i would love spuffy but figured it could cause serious controversy if I were to not consider my fellow brothers and sisters of the buffy world...lol. Plus I absolutely hated Angel before I watched his series and after watching that I've kinda grown on him. I think in the Buffy series he was all brooding and depressing but I mean comeon having Angel sing Mandy and then dancing in she, it shows the lighter side of angel and it made me come around a little more...
