What started as a tablet device converted to a netbook just by opening to the keyboard and literally swiveling the screen from within the frame. This hybrid's got a 10-inch screen, houses a dual-core Atom N550 and runs Windows 7 Premium.

Too bad it doesnt have a little picture of an apple with a little bite taken out of it. It is a Dell though, so next best thing (if there is such a thing)

I'd say it looks interesting. Looks sort of prone to breaking though, no? The dual core atom is a nice improvement but I still think I'm going to wait until they squeeze some more power under the hood.

Can't wait to see it running osx. =P

The swivel screen is what gave me a moment of pause.. I can see it easily transforming into a netbook sans screen, and a tablet sans the tab.

It says it runs Windows 7, that is OSx.. just not as slick.

I'm sorry.. as much as I love Apple and mah Macs.. I said it BEFORE it was released, I said it AFTER it was released.. I said it after seeing numerous in captivity.. but the iPad is horrible. It's.. a waste. Pure and simple. It's an iPhone on steroids but without calling capability or camera. No camera? Seriously. I will use my MBP and be happy. iPad.. ugh.

Now the Ip4 I LOVE.. honestly. I just dont see a purpose for the iPad. Other than it looooks purdy.. but we all know looks fade.

But that there netbook thingy, I think I could see a purpose for.

I would never buy an ipad as long as its functionality is kept under lock and key. If I'm spending that much on a device I expect to be able to tweak it however I see fit. I also understand Apple's hesitancy in regards to flash seeing as how Adobe has neglected their platform but without flash support it loses a lot of it's appeal. To me at least.

Edit: Haha, alright. I don't blame you. It's a love/hate thing.
