A never-before-seen version of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is being released in select Dolby Cinema theaters for one week beginning April 30. “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was designed for the big screen and for the best sound systems,” co-writer and director Edgar Wright said. “To be able to see it with the best specs is obviously any filmmaker’s dream. You want people to see it as good as it could possibly be. I suspect that if you’re a fan of the movie, you’re going to get such a kick out of seeing it like this.” It also will tide over fans of Wright’s work until his new film, Last Night in Soho, is released in October.

I hope they insert some kind of extra footage to make it seem like some time has passed, and that Knives is really too good for Scott. Because, once you read the comics, it becomes clear that Scott and Knives have no business being a couple, and that Ramona is really the best choice. But, it's not really made clear in the movie why Scott just doesn't say nuts to all this, and just occasionally hooks up with Sandra and/or Monique.

No it's awful. I was really disappointed because I like the director's other stuff and generally enjoy comic / superhero stuff as well.

I can see why they're keen to get it played with the best sound and visuals because outside of that it's got nothing going for it.

Yes, it is. If you enjoy that type of movie.

That being said, I didn't like it the first time I saw it because I wasn't expecting it. But subsequent watching it makes me laugh a lot.

What different about this version ? . Saying it different could mean they put in a few extra minutes but nothing changed in the movie .
That way they can say it different while not changing it .

Not a huge fan of Scott Pilgrim, but I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed it. I'm so excited to get back to the theaters, so if I can, yes I will go watch this in theaters.
