I was shocked to hear that Dollhouse was starting its second season. However not surprised Fox cancelled it.

I didn't hear anything about its first season. Couldn't find it anywhere on the schedules. Still didn't find it for the second season.

This proves an earlier point I was discussing on zaptoit about tru calling. Fox and other networks not giving shows like Dollhouse, Tru Calling, Firefly proper promotion and time placement. They set all of them up to fail. Don't want any to be a success. Not realizing each had a loyal audience that could guarantee stable ad revenue. They rather take chances with a show like idol which may have been popular at first but it and other such shows are seeing a drop in ratings. They moved tru calling all over the place making it impossible for anyone to find it and has the nerve to blame poor ratings for cancelling it.

Yeah they did a lot last season with Sarah Connor Chronicles. I can't really fault FOX with this one. They gave it a second season despite horribly low ratings.

I didn't belong on FOX to begin with (or any major Network). I could have seen it flourishing on Cable, but...
CW also been making a lot of screwball decisions. Vampire diaries and melrose place failing. However ordered more episodes of both. They are planning to show vampire diaries every evening for a week in december. Locklear hasn't help the new melrose place. She couldn't do what did with the original series.

Perhaps fox been doing something similar as Spike with scheduling. Spike has different shows on at the same time in different markets. Dollhouse may be was only airing in 1 or 2 regions.

CW putting vampire diaries on back to back monday to friday this month for 1 week is a big clue. It will take too long to explain and frankly I don't have much time for message boards these days. Along with my business I have a news magazine web site that focuses on the paranormal, ghosts, ufos, witches.

I feel the sci fi paranormal genre not getting the respect once did and deserves.

That is one possibility but there could be any reason. What is on the air now are not true paranormal dramas like buffy angel and charmed were. Twilight vampire diaries are soap operas romance novels. Like most of CW programming.

Thanks to dvds of what was on I can avoid all the trash that is on CW and FOX and the others.

Twilight vampire diaries? I don't know if you mean to smush those two together because they are not the same thing. Twilight is not with the CW either. Its a movie with Summit. It's not a possibilty. It's a fact. Buffy presented you with actual numbers and facts proving that it and the reruns were doing well. You may hate it, but that is not a reason you have to be so harsh when describing your opinions. It it better to be respectful and back them up because some of us like the show or movie. The Vampire Diaries are doing fantastic. They have a big fanbase and I really enjoy it. I enjoy it much more than Twilight because we get to see all the blood and gore! I think that it can even be compared to Buffy because Stefen is like Angel and Damen can be like the early Spike at times. I think this is why I enjoy the show. It is not better then Buffy to me, as I dont think anything could replace it, but it's not fair to automatically diss the show because you "dont have time for it." As for you "frankly not having time for message boards" and then going on to boast, well it comes off as slightly rude. At least it did to me.
