i agree with eunsoma...you've really mastered Buffy's character. yes, short for a chapter, but i thought it was good. i really wanna know what Buffy wants to talk to Angel about, and what the problem with Giles is. so keep writing, sweetie!

also, can we have some Spike please? 😉 😀

Chapter 4
DAwn walked throgh the warehouse looking at all the new slayers, she smiled. As DAwn waslked she thought about everything that was happening in her life. The destruction of Sunnydale and her feelings for Xander, Dawn had had a crush on Xander ever since she could remember. But now she couldn't help but wonder if maybe Xander felt the same. She also thought about her secret. She'd never be able to explain to people how she knew the things she knew, how she knew Buffy's secret or the fact that out there somewhere Spike was back.
"Hey DAwnie. How are you?" Willow smiled.
"Good. What are ya doing?"
Willow looked at DAwn, "Well I'm supposed to be getting everyone together but no one will listen to me."
DAwn smiled sympathetically, "Sorry. Maybe I could help. They listen to me, sometimes."
"Oh no you go do whatever."
DAwn's smile faded, "Yeah whatever."
Willow saw the anger on the young girls face. "Look DAwnie..."
"No don't worry I'm just a kid right? It's cool I'll talk to Xander."
DAwn walked to where XAnder sat on a matress and laid dwn with her head in his lap. Xander bagan to stroke her hair, he looked at DAwn and was forced to remind himself that she was Buffy's sister. "You wanna talk about it?"
Dawn moved around to look up at Xander. "Everyone thinks I'm a kid I mean I'm eightenn in like two days, I'm older then Buffy was when she started slaying."
Xander looked at DAwn and thought of how far she'd come, how beautiful she is and at how he was beginning to fall in love with her.
"No you're not a kid. Far from it. Dawn you've grown so much since you first came here and I can tell you know you're one of the most extroadinary women I've ever met."
DAwn sat up, grinned and hugged XAnder just Joanna walked over. Joanna was a young blonde slayer with green eyes and was fairly short for someone her age.
"Hey guys, I didn't mean to interrupt."
DAwn looked up at her friend, "Oh hi Jo."
Joanna moved and collapsed ont the matress righty next to DAwn.
"Okay so I'm supposed to get you guys to head to the bus Willow says Buffy found us a place to crash."
"Cool." Dawn smiled.
"Look I better go get my things. Bye Dawn, Bye XAnder." and Jo was gone.
"We should pack." DAwn stated before grabbing her bag and stuffing what little she had in it. Xander stood and did the same. Several minutes later Xander grabbed both bags and stuck them on the bus before taking his seat behind the wheel. Dawn took the seat behind him.
Buffy walked onto the bus, "Alright everyone. Sit down please. We're going to a hotel. You'll all have set rooms for everyones safety. Now Xander let's motor." Buffy sat bside her sister.
"Sure thing Buff." and the bus was off.
 
wow wow that was good. I still cant get my head around Dawn/Xander... oh well i will eventually. So off to the Hyperion huh? Cant wait for more.
 
wow, Dawn's character was great...you nailed her. and Joanna! she finally made it here!

Chapter 5
Somewhere in Europe.....
The first stalked a young slyer, she wouldn't have even been fifteeen. It thought carefully before assuming a form it had taken many times before.The first walked over to the young girl, "Excuse me. Hi I'm Buffy Summers. I don't mean to bother you but I'm kinda lost."
Kyra looked up at the girl before her, she'd heard the name before but couldn't remember where.
"I'm Kyra. Where exactly are you supposed to be going?"
This is going to be so easy thought The First, "I'm not exactly sure. You know a girl your age shouldn't be wandering the streets alone at this time of night. I mean you never know what's out there waitning to pounce."
Kyra smiled, it was a lesson she was well aware of by now.
"You're telling me."
Buffy smiled at Kyra, "Oh wait I think I recognise that street. Maybe it'd be safer if you came with me that way if I get lost you'll know where we started. I mean if you want to of course."
Kyra looked at Buffy she seemed nice enough. Besides it wasn't like Kyra couldn't handle herself.
"Sure." the young slayer followed Buffy into an alleyway. All of a sudden Kyra was surrounded, pinned to a wall by six men. As she looked at them the young girl was disgusted to see that none of them had eyes.
"What is this?"
Buffy changed and turned into a young girl with raven hair. The girl was beautiful even though she was a littl pale.
"Shhh it's not your turn to talk. Bad girl speak out of turn. Mummy will have to rip your tongue out."
Kyra was horrified, "What is this? Who are you?"
Drusilla turned to face the young girl. Again the First changed form into a preacher by the name of Caleb.
"You see it's not exactly a whom and more of a what." again it changed this time into Spike.
"You see pet, I'm evil, the first. And more importantly I'm the one who's going to kill you."
"That's not what I heard."
The First turned to see Faith steeping out of the shadows. She immediatly stabbed one of the bringers and ducked as another one attempted to slit her throat. By this time the First was already gone. Kyra took her oppurtunity pulling the men off her and throwing them to the ground. Faith handed her a dagger.
"You're gonna need it."
After 5 minutes the ground before them was littered with the bodies of six bringers. Faith turned to the girl.
"I'm Faith and that makes you Kyra."
"Yeah how did you..?"
Faith winked, "Long story kid. It's not safe here no more. Your coming with me."
Kyra nodded and followed obediently. The girl did save her life which usually merits some form of trust. Faith pulled out a cell and immediatly began to punch in a number.
"Yeah B. Girl's safe. Gee Buff you need to wind down. Party a little."
Faith new on the other end Buffy was probably rolling her eyes.
"We're on our way to the airport now."
Kyra remained silentuntil Faith had hung up.
"Airport?" Kyra asked 'Where are we going?"

Chapter 6 (this ones for Lyri)
In L.A
Spike walked around the hallways of Wolfram and Hart in all his glory. He was looking for somebody to annoy prefferably that nancyboy Angel. As he walked into Angel's office he noticed Angel, Fred, Wesley, Gunn and Lorne huddled together whispering.
"Planning another trip in the batmobile are we?"
Everyone turned to Spike but it was Angel that spoke first.
"I'm not sure you'd wanna come along on this one Spike."
Spike moved closer taunting Angel, "I don't know. If there's evil affot I may as well chip in and come for the ride nancyboy."
This time Wesley spoke, "Well it's a good thing we're not going to fight evil then."
Angel rose, "We're going to help an old friend."
Then it hit Spike as he sniffed the air he knew that scent on Angel was familiar.
"Buffy"
Angel nodded. He knew it would come out sooner or later. He was just hoping that it would have been later.
"She came here to speak to me. I told her I'd help."
"Oh you said you'd help did you?" Spike was growing angrier by the second, "And this wasn't some brilliant plan to get abck with her then was it?"
Wesley soon leaped to Angel's defence, "Buffy came here for help not to rekindle some romance she had with Angel." Wesley looked at Angel hoping for some back up but none came.
Angel was silent and looked at the floor. He felt everyone's eyes upon him. He couldn't take it so walked to the door.
"We're going to the Hyperion. Spike if you want to come then come."
Spike threw Angel a look of utter hate.
"I think I'll pass. Watching you and Buffy making moon eyes at each other was never my idea of fun anyway."
Angel rolled his eyes and walked out the door followed by the rest of Team Angel. Spike continued to glare after them. So Buffy was with Angel now. Funny how someone could move on so quickly. Spike tried to hide his hurt and finally decided to go out and do what he always did when he was upset kill something.
 
Ok so this chapter is really really short. So here we go.
Chapter 7
Buffy put her cell back in her pocket and looked up to see the bus was nearing the Hyperion. As the bus came to a halt Buffy rose from her seat to address everyone.
"Okay, guys and girls. Grab your bags and head to the lobby. Oh and please try not to wander."
As everyone filed off the bus Buffy turned to her friends.
"Andrew, Dawn and Kennedy. I kinda need the others for something private. Which means I can't keep an eye on everyone. Kennedy this puts you in charge till we're done. Andrew and Dawn stay with the girls. Oh and Andrew try not to break anything or you know, touch anything. Dawn, try to keep an eye on him."
Dawn nodded and followed Andrew and Kennedy off the bus. Then Buffy turned to Willow, XAnder and Giles. They'd been with her from the very beginning, Buffy knew she could always count on them. She smiled at them and walked off the bus to where Team Angel stood. Buffy exchanged a smile with Angel before speaking.
"Can we move this somewhere private?"
Angel nodded and lead them to what used to be his office, and past a large number of slyers who all fell silent when Buffy walked in. Buffy offered them a fake smile before stepping into Angel's office.
Angel smiled at Buffy. "A lot of pressure."
"Believe me when I say oh yeah."
 
I can't wait to see the next chapter..... you just get so hooked like when you watch your fav tv show and it says "to be continued" 🙂 Cant wait to see the next chapter!

Chapter 8
Spike walked around downtown L.A looking for a good slay. He heards some crashes and followed the noise. Spike sniffed the nights air picking up a familiar scent.
"Spike?"
Spike turned to see Dawn staring back at him. He marvelled at how much more adult she had become.
"Oh Bollocks. Yeah it's me. What are you doing out here niblet? Shouldn't you be off watching big sis suck face with nancyboy?"
Dawn grew angry. Why did everyone think she wasn't capable of looking after herself?
"What am I doing here? You're the one who's supposed to be dead!"
"Well yeah. But what I meant is... does Buffy know you're out?"
Dawn shuffled her feet as she looked at her shoes.
"Dawn you know it's dangerous."
"Please. Like Buffy cares. She's too busy with the new slayers to even bother to check if I'm still breathing."
Spike gave Dawn a sympathetic smile and a hug. He once promised Buffy that he'd protect Dawn no matter what and Spike wasn't about to stop now.
"Just promise me you'll go back to the hotel with the others. Now Dawn!"
"You know a way to make sure is if you come with me."
Spike looked around, "I can't Dawn,"
"Please? I know it's make Buffy happy. She missed you and besides if I get killed by a vampire on the way back it'll totally be all your fault."
Spike thought carefully. He did want to see Buffy and he couldn't let nancyboy win without a fight.
"You know what? I think I will come. But only to make sureyou're okay."
Spike took off his jacket wrapping it around Dawn who smiled.
"Whatever you say Spike."
Dawn felt at home walking with Spike he had always been like a brother to her. Spike wrapped his arm around Dawn. He'd missed his little sister.
 
Chapter 9.
Kennedy ran into the office her face filled with worry. Willow immmediatly rose and took the girl in her arms.
"Kennedy what's wrong baby?"
Looking over to Buffy Kennedy spoke, "Dawn ran off. I don't know where she went."
Buffy began to panic. Angel saw the anxiousness on Buffy's face. Placing a hand on her shoulder he tried to reassure her.
"Don't worry Buffy we're going to find her."
Taking charge Angel looked around the room and began to pair everyone up.
"Fred you go with Willow, Lorne take Xander, Wes go with Giles, Gunn take umm Kennedy? Buffy you're with me. Spread out, stick to local areas she can't have gone far."
As everyone left the room Angel moved to Buffy who was on the verge of tears. He wrapped her in his arms.
"Buffy she's gonna be okay."
Taking a breath Buffy stepped out of his arms moving to the door and grabbing her coat. Angel had to talk to her this was going to be the best chance he had.
"Buffy we still need to talk."
"Yeah I guess we do."
Together Angel and Buffy walked out into the night and began to speak.
"Buffy if we're going to be together there's somethings I need to know."
"Buffy nodded I know. I mean I understand. Ask away."
Angel spoke once again occasionally casting a glance at Buffy.
"Back in Sunnydale you were with Spike."
"Yeah I really was."
"Did you love him?"
"Who? Spike?"
Angel nodded.
"Yeah. I loved Spike and a part of me always will. But Angel I wasn't in love with him. Not like I am with you. Besides it doesn't matter. Spike is gone and even if he wasn't you're still the one I want to be with. Angel I'm in love with you. I always have been and I think deep down Spike knew it too."
