Hi, everyone 🙂 I'm new, both to the Boards and to the Buffyverse. I started watching the Buffy Season One DVDs in, oh, I guess February, and got completely hooked 😀 I'm now up to Buffy Season Four and Angel Season One (watching in order, with the crossovers, etc.) Both shows are awesome; I love them both and am having a ball watching through the DVDS :cheering:

The forum here looks awesome and I'm looking forward to contributing! :bounce:

Hey! I'm a newbie to the board myself. I'm really glad to hear that these amazing shows are still gathering new fans after having been off the air for so long. How did you get started watching the shows and who is your favorite character so far?

And for those of you who asked how I first got into watching the show: I had heard a lot of good things about it from many different sources. I read a book about writing for tv shows and the author pretty much couldn't say enough about how brilliant Joss Whedon is. Also, a lot of people on a Xena forum I'm on also like Buffy, so I decided to see what the fuss was about. I am so glad I did, too!

@ Manda: My favorite characters so far are Willow, Cordelia, Drusilla (I miss her! 🙁 ), Angel, and Wesley (on Angel), but that is subject to change 🙂 I pretty much like them all, anyway.

@ Cangel: Yeah, I also like the X-Files; I bought Season 1 and was watching through it, but I got distracted...by Buffy...😛 I will go back eventually, though.
 
Welcome! Welcome! You're my first.....welcome!! Its awesome you're watching them together and in order on DVD! In my opinion, the best way!! Just don't read something you shouldn't!!:bite-cha: Hope you can get outside every now and then!!!:lmao:
