New Buffy Game for DS

Ever heard of Duke Nukem Forever? It was supposed to come out in 1997, it's still not out yet....

Or God of War 3? Was supposed to come out next month, now it's been pushed back til next year
 
Don't worry, i'm sure we'll have Buffy soon, a few little delays like this is quite common
 
And if we don't get it soon, we go to the company guns ablazing, hold them hostage until they send it out. With me? 😉

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer DS game

whats everyone expecting for this game, i dont like DS's for a start cuz they always have a diferent views to other consols (e.i Xbox 360, PS3, Wii) instead of 2D or 3D it has a kinda birds-eye view but on an angle...

i would think it would be a episode by episode game, but if it is then we could expect whats going to happen!
things like that, i know what i would like to see, but it wouldn't be very good...

Thoughts?...

Guess what i'm currently playing 😉

Story seems interesting, judging from the opening scene, it looks to bridge the gap between Buffy S7, Angel S5 and Buffy S8

First impressions: The be-....worst Buffy game ever. Unless it gets better, i'm gonna go ahead and say Quest for Oz is better than this
 
I brought it today. My finace works in a gamesstore so i got it for £20.
i will play it soon i think...i will check back when i have lol

And for anyone wondering, the first boss is
a certain Mr No Skin 😉

Edit: OMG Bosses are almost unplayable!

This is the first time i've wished i wasn't a Buffy fan, i don't wanna play this anymore >_<

No, it should come out tomorrow. the game shop i got mine from usualy has games a day early. Sibby probably got it early cuz of having someone on the inside 😉

if you haven't got it yet though, think yourself lucky

So far, yes
The camera sucks
The controls suck
The graphics suck
The story....is interesting actualy, i wanna see where it's going
The minigames(Yes dear god there are minigames! D=) suck
The cutscenes suck(It's just a pic of the character and text, the pics are cartoony and it's s4 Buffy with s7 Will and Giles

Sounds interesting. In a crappy kind of way. I just want to get it now to see if it's as bad as you say. 😛
 
It is, every enemy can hit you faster than you can hit them, and they can hit you while you're hitting them
 
Nice to have a review on the game. Hopefully we can get more before I make my final judgement on getting this or not.
 
Third, fourth and fifth bosses:

Turok, Caleb and The Master

I got up to the 5th boss and after what must have been my 12th try, i gave up.

If you get this game, i hope you like it, because you'll be playing every little bit of it over and over again as a result of dying from bad controls

i think mine's definitely going on ebay
 
I got this game yesterday so only played about 10 mins of it - one thing I noticed there is no Buffy theme tune! Have you noticed it Clem?
 
I'm really not looking forward to this coming anymore. If it's really that bad, it'll probably another one of the games I have that I've played a grand total of once (I have several of those on both my PS2 and DS 😉)

I've played mine twice so far, it'll probably be on ebay tomorrow. unless i find an invincibility cheat for it
