New Buffy Game for DS

I want Buffy lego , how cool would that be???

Like star wars lego but Buffy .

Ohhh, they could every do season like they did the complete saga.

Gah, i want them to make this game now.

I'm not a big fan of fighting games like Tekken and Soul Caliber but if they did a Buffy and Angel themed one i would buy it.

I don't have that many games for my DS but I think I will have to have to check this out come November.

Huh. I'm feeling oppressed now.

Well I missed out on being "of the gamer generation".
I've only owned and played very few games all told.
I've never owned a Nintendo, Xbox or anything of the sort.
Never intend to no matter what game they make.
Then again, I've never owned a cell phone either.
Maybe I'm just very strange.

XD Only someone who doesn't play games would talk about owning a "Nintendo"! *fetches some slippers, a blanket, and a cup of nice warm tea for Superstar*
Forgot the rockin' chair.

So.. is saying Nintendo bad? Really dated? Both? Neither? I don't know.
Would "Atari" have been better? Is Nintendo NES now? Help!
I do PC only on what few I have played so it's all Babylonian to me.
I kinda get it, but the nuances escape me.

^ Nintendo is the name of the company. The actual platform was the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). Though when I was younger and owned one, I called it "playing Nintendo," as well. So, *shrug*

I am quite excited for this! Finally, my DS will be good for something other than sitting in my purse for pictochatting with friends on the train, haha.

I wish they would come out with a Buffy game for something like the PS3 that went through all seven seasons of the show and each boss battle was the big bad. I think it would be so very epic to be able to fight the Master, Angelus, Faith, Snake Mayor, Adam, Glory, Dark Willow, Caleb, etc. *drool* Only in my wildest fantasies though. I will have to stick to RP'ing. XD

Also, it would so awesome if they came out with a Buffy game for the Wii where you could physically fight and stake vampires. *dreamy sigh*

That might actually convince me to buy a Wii.

a wii game would be very nice

It's very bad and extremely annoying, it's like saying you were gonna play a Sony or a Microsoft. Nintendo is a company, not something you can have or play on.

It's like people who call a DS and NDS, you don't have SPSP's or MXbox360's, so why should a DS be an NDS?[/personal little rant]

Cool. 'cept I said "owned" not played. But rant away.
Nintendo is the name of the company.
Yeah, that I knew.
Eh. Funny thing is, my parents owned and ran a video arcade when I was jr. high and high school - still do for all I know.
Consequently, I avoided all electronic games of the sort and hung out in the pool halls that allowed under-age people due to no alcohol on the premises.

Blondie Bear agrees: Don't worry about it. Everybody's got to have something to be elitist about, I guess.
Well, when the response comes from someone with "The Alpha Gamer" in their title, I'm not overly concerned.

Sorry if it seemed like that rant was aimed at you, it wasn't, just something that's really been pissing me off lately

And "The Alpha Gamer" is my username on other forums, i put that there because i watermarked it on one of my sigs and didn't want anyone here thinking i'd stolen the sig from anyone

sorry guys, just found out you Americans aren't getting it D=

Bet you're glad DS's are region free huh?

I really wish someone would make a good Buffy game for a home console. Like chii said, the PS3 would be great. I mean, if it was developed by a team who actually were fans. Just imagine, now they could do all seven seasons, with a full size sandbox Sunnydale! You could just wander around patroling, or go to the library to advance the season arc, go to (or avoid) school/college, play as Willow, Spike, Faith, Tara. It would be great. You could even face off against all the big bads properly. Just imagine how cool the Graduation and battle in the Hellmouth could be!

But it will never be.

And don't worry Superstar, I'm only teasing! *sneaks off to find a rocking chair*

Sandbox Sunnydale and openendedness with a choice to advance or stay put in your favorite season, that is genius. Thats an awsome game in the making. Well-freaking-done
^ Me, too. I have the ones for XBox and they feel like a game designer decided to take advantage of the nerd market and read about Buffy on Wikipedia and maybe looked at some set schematics before building the game.

^ I'm aiming to become a gaming journalist and I'm so pitching this to people I interview if I'm successful. I'd want it for 360 though. With achievement points 😀 I love my achievment points all 53,235. I love each one equally.

Hmmm...I'm willing to go cross platform. Share the Buffy love. But I want royalties!

http://www.play-asia.com/ is a good site to order from. Since DS is region-free, you can pop any game in there. Who said Buffy: Sacrifice won't be released in America though?

I was so excited to hear this! Time to put my lame DS to use! 🙂

cannot wait for the game to come out, i will be pre-ordering and then playing on it as soon as i get it =D i will be the first one in my area at the shop haha
