I just saw this article yesterday and got really excited! Hopefully it'll be better than what I'm hearing about the new DS game.

"March 29th, 2009 - Buffy fans rejoice!

We've recently gotten word from UK-based gaming company Elixir Studios (Republic: The Revolution, Evil Genius) that a new Buffy game is in the works! Rumor has it that it will be titled Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Day of Glory and that it will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360. We haven't heard anything about when development will start, but we have been told to expect a summer 2010 release date."

Any ideas about what the plot will be? The title makes it sound like it'll be set during season 5.
 
Aww poopy!! Why DS And X Box!! NO fair!!! I'm backing either a PS3 of Wii game!! Think the wii would be so fun!! Using the remote to stake the vampires hehe!! Aww poopy X Box...i'm off to sulk now...*grumble grumble*

This is ****ing brilliant news! Now I have my Xbox 360 I was hoping they'd make another Buffy game although I hope it won't turn out like Chaos Bleeds, that game was too hard to grasp, but still yipee!!!

I loved Chaos Bleeds a little complicated but still AWESOME!
Why do they like the Xbox so much? They deprived me of the first Buffy game by making it soley for Xbox and now I have to miss another one? Not fair.

Chaos Bleeds was on PS2...
i dont have an x box I do have a ds but seeing as the game has not came out in the usa im out of luck!

You could order it from a UK website, the exchange rate isn't that bad at the moment and the DS is region free.
Fantastic news! Except for the fact that I will have to buy an xbox 360. So the Buffy crew obviously some sort of deal with xbox which sucks...
I have already bought an xbox purely for the other Buffy games.

Do you think if I ask Joss very nicely he will re-imburse me the money?

lol love the Buffy gif. And totally forgot about April Fools while reading this. But it does sound like a thing they would do.
 
I had an inkling it was a joke...but I wasn't sure, haha. Hence the question 'bout the source.

But that was a good one. A wicked cruel one, but a good one none the least.
