plan to watch Buffy from the beginning on dvd in the near future.

figured I'd join a fan forum, where I can come and chat about the show when I begin doing so.


really like this MB, it looks fantastic.

If you didn't get that my comment was jovial, then I think you're already sitting in the empty pool caused by a humour drought.

If you play real nice, I'll set my hose on you later and this just turned into a far worse comment then I intended!

Actually I was a regular viewer when the show began, back in 1997.

my work schedule changed, around the time when Angel slept with Buffy and turned evil. Pretty much lost track of the show altogether and stopped watching.

Never watched Angel at all.

My sister is a RAPID fan of both Buffy/Slayer and Angel.

So I bought her both shows on dvd, when Circuit City had them on sale back in 2007. She said I can borrow them whenever I decided to watch all seven seasons in order.

keeping with the festivities, welcome.

When you get ready to watch season seven, drop me a line. I still have half of season six and all of seven to go and I would love to discuss it with someone who is watching it for the first time also; who has not talked it up one side and down another and knows the dialog by heart.

Don't get me wrong, doing that is fun too, and it never ceases to amaze me the different takes on the show from fan to fan, but the spoilers can trip you up sometimes. (thats why I stay out of those seasons threads for the most part.)

Maybe we could make a thread on it and let the more experienced fans flash back to their early days and laugh at us as newbs! Sounds fun to me anyway.

Either/or, welcome to the boards and enjoy all the new episodes. 🙂
