According to this week's TV Guide, there will be a new face on Tru this season.

Their Calling Jim Carrey is joining Tru Calling! That's a lie. It's actually Eric Christian Olsen-who played a younger vversion of Carrey in last year's "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd"-who's joined the Fox drama. He'll play a boy-next-door type who befriends Tru (Eliza Dushku-another Buffy alum) at med school.

looks like Tru is finally going to school,
even after storming out of her MCATS.

How interesting! I think putting her in a school environment could be very interesting!!!! I wonder if she'll flunk out cause she'll have to run out of class all the time! 😀
 
I put in some spoiler tags on the bit we haven't seen in the UK yet - but the rest is fine as news.

Ugh I didn't even catch that that was a spoiler....sorry Mr.P!! It's been awhile since I've seen the eppys so I forget what happened where.
 
We're probably about two-thirdsish through Season One at the moment but I wouldn't expect you guys to know that. To be honest I only recently started reading the Tru stuff (shame on me 😉) but I'm assuming that the "spoiler if not yet broadcast in the UK" rule we had for Buffy and Angel still applies. The show is really picking up since the introduction of Jack IMO...
 
Yes I think you guys just saw Episode 18....I just couldn't remember what happened when you know? It's been about 4 months since the finale and the ole memory isn't what it used to be! 😉

Totally agree about the spoilers issue..I'll try and keep a better eye out for that!

Jack IMO has completed the show...brought it from the realms of really good to great!!
 
sounds good though i don't know if it's a good thing, though it is a good thing that Jim Carrey isn't in it cause then they would make the show more of a comedy...
