New found Groo hatred

I thought Groo was alright, i actually stood up for him a few times and then last night, i was in bed...and it came to me....GROO SCREWED UP A POTENTIAL ANGEL/CORDY MOMENT. I mean, angel isnt anywhere near my favortie person either, but i loved Cordy and Angel! And Groo came waltzing back in, expecting Cordy to take him back, which she did. ANd I know she helped Lorne live and all, but he just bothers me now.
 
I can't hate him. He's just too innocent and to be honest perhaps he's the real victim in that situation. He didn't really expect anything, but Cordy just fell into his arms when he return, much because she wanted to forget about Angel in a way. They had a nice friendship and to ruin it by going further than that might have been scary for her. Hence Groo was the easy way out, but she just couldn't not think about Angel and it ended up with Groo getting hurt and they missin out on a their "moment".

Don't get me wrong Cangel is the only ship I'm really fond of, but still I can't hold no grudges against Groo. He was too naive and like a child in this world. Besides he had those freaky blue eyes.

I never disliked Groo at all. He kinda didn't stand a chance to be liked. He was in a bad position and I felt sorry for him. In my opinion he is kinda the "Riley" of "Angel", where fans didn't like him because he was boring. (For the record I am a Riley Fan). I liked the little speech where he tricked Lorne into telling him that Cordy probably didn't love him.

Groo annoyed me to no end. I didn't like him in Pylea, and I really, really didn't like him when he came back in season 3. Oh, and I think his eyes are really creepy.
 
I actually liked Groo and I felt bad for him.Even though I like Angel and Cordy way more than I'll ever like Cordy and Groo,they could've been very good together.Those blue eyes were kinda creepy though.

umm am i not the only one that find this ammusing, why do you think so many people hated him? LOL.

I never hated Groo, I kinda wished he hadn't turned up cos I love Cangel but he was an innocent in it all. I thought of this quote though

Groo: "Angel. His inaction puzzles me. When Connor was taken from him he moved heaven and Tarkna to try and win him back."

Lorne: "Yeah, he sure did. Hence our weekly scrubbing of the lobby floor."

Groo: "But now that his son is here, he does nothing."

Lorne: "Well, sometime nothing is the best something. If a thing is meant to be somethimes it is best to just let it happen rather than try to force it."

Groo: "But if a thing is meant to be then how can it be forced?"

Lorne: "Well, I guess it can't."

Groo: "And if a thing is not meant to be?"

Lorne: "Well, then it really can't. Just because someone hops a dimension or two is no guarantee that things will work out. - Well, aren't you just sneaky with the subtext?"

Groo: "It is a beautiful day. If my princess asks, tell her I've gone for a walk. - If she asks."

He may have been very naive but he wasn't stupid and I think this was when I started to really feel sorry for him.
 
I loved that convo between Groo and Lorne it was sad... I dunno i actually liked the Cordy Groo relationship... I mean i think it was sweet that he came all the way from another hell dimension for her. I mean i'm also not a Cangel lover so maybe my opinion doesn't count but... as for the time thing i mean sometimes it takes you a while to figure out what to do i mean what your missing and all then you find a way to get it... I think it was sweet but then agian i'm always the wierd one of these threads lol the outcast of it all haha
