Help New Here - Can I have some tips?

Hi! Welcome to the Boards! 🙂

If you need help, you can post something in the Bad Eggs adoption forum. It's in the Check In sub-forum. Somebody will 'adopt' you and can help you with whatever you want to know.
Have fun!

Hi! I'm Emily. Welcome to the boards! If you need help settling in or have any questions, you may like to be "adopted" by another board member who'll be happy to show you around. Of course, everyone here is friendly and helpful, so feel free to ask whomever.

Here's the link if you want to be adopted. Just create a thread there.

I see you've already requested to be sorted. I hope to see you in Vahla Ha'nesh! 🙂

Welcome to BB. Tips: all the above about getting adopted and sorted are great 🙂 you could also look through the threads and start posting in the ones that interest you. Try and talk to lots of people too regardless of dorms etc because there's loads of weird and wonderful characters here 😉 Finally if you need help with anything you can't find an answer for on the boards feel free to ask the mods (user titles in bold) and we'll try our best to help you out. Nice to see you joining up and hope to see you around the boards.

Hello and welcome to BB WallflowerBitca! My advice: jump in and start posting, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how quickly you'll fit in 🙂

Welcome to BB! The best advice I can give is...have fun and post lots 🙂 Seriously, just find a thread that tickles your fancy and dive right in. If you'd rather start a topic or discussion of your own, go right ahead and start a thread.

My tip? If you do not like confrontation then try and stay away from any of the 'hot' topics for a little while until you become more comfortable here. Anything regarding rape, abortion, politics, any -ism's etc is going to attract bolshy people (I guess you can include me in this list hehe) and things get heated so quickly.

If you don't take things personally though and enjoy a heated discussions then jump right in anywhere - otherwise maybe stick to some of the lighter threads for awhile!

Hey and welcome to the boards! Don't be shy; we don't bite (not hard, anyway). 🙂 Make yourself at home.

:welcome: to the boards. Don't think I got any more advice than those already given. Just try and enjoy yourself as much as possible. Hope to see you around.

edit: The chat may be an interesting place if you're into that kind of thing.
