Um, hi! My name is Taryn and I just turned 16 over a week ago. I got my permit and I drive like an old lady and people pass me on the road. D: Um, anyway, I love Buffy! I have all seven seasons on DVD and I have Angel season 1, 3 and 4. I just ordered Dr. Horrible's on amazon and I really want to get Firefly and Dollhouse season 1, but we'll see how that goes. XD I'm a huge Whedon fan. The Whedonverse is my home... at least when I'm not at Hogwarts. I'm what they refer to as a nerdfighter and you're totally amazing if you know what that is. If not, just look up John and Hank Green or vlogbrothers on youtube. I met both John and Hank as well as youtube sensation Julia Nunes. Got all their autographs and everything!

Anywho, I've wanted to join here for a while but finally decided to make an account. It's really pretty here. The themes are amazing and I know they're wicked (that doesn't show I'm from Massachusetts at all) hard to make look good. I'm Dan Humphrey at Gossip Girl Boards so I've taken a shot at trying to make them.

Welcome to BB. You're already allowed to drive? This is so unfair. I have to wait until I'm 17 and even then I am only allowed to drive when my parents are with me.

Perny: Thanks! The singing commentary is hilarious! My RL friend Spencer has the DVD and he and I watched it one time together and it was pretty awesome. We had a Buffy marathon before that, too. And I think we watched an episode of Angel but I could be mistaken.

Goldmond: Thanks to you, too! Yeah, I do. See, this is how it works in Massachusetts:
- at 16 you can get your permit but you can only drive with a licensed driver
- at 16 1/2 or six months after you get your permit, you get your license and you can drive alone but you have certain restrictions on who you can have in the car with you
- at 17 or six months after you get your license, you can drive freely

Hi Taryn! :welcome: I'm sure you're gonna fit right in. And the Dr. Horrible dvd is a must (do you hear me Perny? 😉) and I love the singing commentary. They should release that on cd along with the regular songs. I like HP too but stay far away from anything GG. Not because I think it's bad or anything (some online friends would kill me if I said that) but I'm just weird like that. 😛 Anywho. Since I seem to be the one always giving these links I better do it again. Getting sorted (get any HP vibes? Just don't say that when you ask to get sorted. The tome will be offended.) is of course a good idea. And you get sorted here. The Sorting Tome If you're lucky you'll end up in VH. The best dorm of the boards but in all honesty, the other ones isn't that bad either. And if you feel the need to get a little help or just have a parent getting adopted might be something to try. And that you do here Bad Eggs

Aww thanks everyone! I feel so welcomed here and it's really nice to feel that way when I sign up by myself on a board that has a huge community already. It's intimidating but I should have known that my fellow Whedonversers would be this awesome.
