New Improved Favourite Season Poll

OK we've all seen favourite season polls, but I just thought of what I think is a novel way to do another. Goes like this.

If you don't have a DVD player, imagine getting one. Which Buffy, or Angel Season DVD do you want first? (doesn't matter if it's out yet, or not.)

If you already have a DVD player, pretend you already own every Buffy or Angel Season DVD that's available, then pretend everyone of them is stolen, and there's only enough insurance money for one season. Which one do you want?

Well in real life I got Buffy season 3, then 6. Then Angel season 1 then 2 (although 2 came before one due to a mail mess up and I had to wait about two weeks).

But now, hmm Buffy season 5 or Angel season 2, between those two, Buffy.

You're right. I forgot about that. Couldn't you just pretend you don't have anything on CD or VHS, or whatever, and you're getting a DVD? ::noangel:

Also got to go with Buffy six. It's my favorite season of Buffy and although I like Angel better in general the Angel arc from seasons one to four is too good to own just one season. I would definitely never buy Angel season five or Buffy seasons one, or four. I like the first season of Buffy, but she is so much better later on and I love Spike and Anya as core members of the group. Wait a second if I could just have all the Cordy parts of Buffy I'd buy that. I disliked season four of Buffy and honestly hate all parts of season five of Angel except for the early Spike parts and later Illyria parts. Don't ask, I don't react well to missing story arcs/killing my favorite character (Cordy) without any real mourning on the part of Angel's team/Wesley dating Fred (creepy)/and most importantly no problems or drama from the missing memories. Plus sacrificing a whole season of character development for prozac memories really miffed me--especially everyone's lack of reaction the the mind rape. I know I'm in the minority here, but hell minorities are cool and often right I might add.

I'm going to have to side with Buffy season 2,
although I love 5, and I think the series peaked midway thru 3
I think many of the best episodes came from 2.
So much raw emotion between the characters, so much developement. Becoming 1, 2 is what got me snared as a buffy fan to begin with

Season 3 of Buffy. it isn't the first season I'd buy, but that's cos a friend has it, and I just recently borrowed it for a long time, and watched most of the episodes like 4 times each...Next season I'm gonna but though is either s1 of Angel (I just started watching in s2 that's airing in Norway now...), s6 og Buffy, s7 of buffy, s2 of Buffy...lol! I only have s1 and 5 of Buffy so far...

I have everything that's available now (Buffy S1-6, Angel S1-3). But the two I most want is AS4 and BS7. Maybe its the lure of the unavailable, but thats my deal.

In reality I got Season 4 first but if Season 5 was out at the time I would have got that one. For Angel, I don't have any of them. 🙁 I would buy Season 3 or 4 first.

I'm really anal & I have to buy them in order...same thing goes for my Friends seasons & Sex in the City.
