New information from Joss!

Joss reveals that he has more plans for Puppet Angel and always wanted Hamilton to be a metaphor for the WB officials acting in pretty the same cold way.

During the Nashville Conference the reporter Bianculli mentioned several helpful things he learned from interviewing Joss by phone prior to the finale.

1. Joss confirmed that Hamilton was supposed to represent the network suits.


2. Joss apparently also mentioned in the conference call that we "haven't seen the last of Puppet Angel."

3. Joss wanted to do more with Illyria, and Bianculli thought that a Spike/Illyria spinoff would be a great idea.
Bianculli noted that the rest of Angel's group accepted that Illyria was here to stay when Spike nicknamed her.

4. Like apparently everyone else in the room, Bianculli enjoyed Spike's moments in the finale, and he asked if people thought Spike's addition to the show worked.

There was agreement it did. He said it was great to see Spike and Angel interact, the character seemed lost for a while, but he was great at being able to knock Angel down and cut to the chase with him.

The "briefcase" moment seemed to be an audience favorite.

More of Puppet Angel sounds good!

Quite crafty of Joss to do that with Hamilton. I like it 😀
 
I would love to see a Spike and Illyria spin off but if Faith would come in as well it would be just great! 😀
 
Really cool..I want more Puppet Angel now..and please let Illyria kick Spike's @ss once more🙂

More Puppet Angel? Well, I normally don't watch puppet shows, but I'd certainly make an exception in this case.


**[television advertisement parody]**


[cueing new, ridiculously cartoony/kiddie show version of the "Angel" theme....Puppet Angel jumps on screen.....]

"Hey kids! It's me...Puppet Angel! Thaaaat's right! No foolin'!
And guess what? You'll get to see me every Saturday morning this fall on ABC! That's right! We're back, baybee! Maestro! Break it down!"

::[Techno music begins to play, and Puppet Angel executes the famous "Angel Happy Dance" from Ats Season One. His nose falls off in mid-dance and rolls away. Puppet Angel chases after it offscreen....]::

"Aww, man! Not again! I'm really, REALLY starting to hate that! Get back here!"

::[Walks back onscreen grumbling to himself and struggling to re-attach his nose.]::

"Well.....unff!.....anyway kids....[speaking in a nasal tone now]...Join me and my pals on our wacky new crimefighting adventures...."

::[As he speaks....Puppet Werewolf Nina peeks her head in from offscreen, looks at the audience....then walks on to stand behind Angel::

".......as we beat the bad guys, every week! So tune in......

::[feels breathing on his head....and he slowly looks behind him...Nina looks down at him and smiles a big, toothy werewolf grin]::

"....AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"

::[Angel drops his nose and runs offstage......Puppet Nina growls and chases after him]::

"No Nina...! Bad girl....bad girl....heel!...Heel!! Bad Nina!"

::They run back and forth onscreen, then offscreen again a couple of times.....then Puppet Angel appears onscreen again....backing away from Puppet Nina and whacking her repeatedly on top of the head with a tiny baseball bat while yelling:]

"DOWN!.....DOWN!....DOWN!....BACK!...BACK!........."

::[As this is going on in the background.....an odd....Cookie Monster-looking puppet walks onscreen, picks up Angel's nose off the floor and looks at it strangely.]::

"Hmmm.....cookie? Nahh!"

::[Tosses the nose over his shoulder and it goes out the window. The cookie monster walks off.....as the audience now sees Angel in the background chasing Nina with a huge rolled up newspaper....]::


**[end of advertisement]**

Ahh, and of course a Spike/Illyria mini series would be just what the doctor ordered. Wouldn't mind seeing that either.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Awwww...that was pricless...I can't WAIT to see Old Masters Puppet version of Angel...lmao...I can just see Nina humping puppet Angel...lmao...oops...was THAT to dirty? Well, I think it's precious...as for the Spike Illiria spinoff...well...I WISH!!! Maybe we could get some good puppet Angel and Spike action sometime eh? Yeah...I could go for that!

I love the idea of an Illyria/Spike spin-off!!! I'm still against Spangel because the very thought of them disturbs me more than I like and Puppet Angel and Spike doesn't make it any better... 😛 I'd like to see more of Puppet Angel, though. He was sooooooooo cute (right down to his little fangs)!!!
