I just discovered Jewel Staite's Personal Website . It's more like a blog really, but fun and easy.

She is just bug's ear cute. Plus she was in the missing Wonderfall's episodes, as well as Firefly, so you gotta love her.

She's welcome to add me to her list of fans anyway.
 
You know, I just FINALLY got myself the Firefly box set and watched the whole damned thing in one day. I can't tell you how fun that was. My only regret it that it makes it a little more difficult to grap the evolution of the characters as you would if spacing them out. But it was an awsome way to spend a day.

Anywho, this is relevant because I absolutely fell in love with Jewel Staite. I thought that in addition to being both cute and naturally beautiful, she gave the character a definite personallity that was almost tangible.

So, thanks oodles nerd4hire. I'm happy to learn more about her and support her. I too am happy to be counted as one of her fans.

Kindred, have you read the scripts yet for the unshown episodes of Wonderfalls? I think Jewel comes in about episode 8. She plays a bitca, and it's comedy. I so want to see those episodes.
 
No, I haven't read them. Right after Wonderfalls ended, my life sort of got kind of hectic for a while and I never really gave a lot of thought to tracking that stuff down. Would you happen to have a link? I'm holding out for a DVD release. It's always worth keeping your fingers crossed.

I was really dissapointed that I didn't get to see her on there though, really disapointed that I didn't get to see the rest of the show....

I know that I'm going to be following her career though. I think that she has alot of potential, especially when you look at the fact that she's only 22, meaning she was as young as 20 during points of Firefly. I think that she's something special.
 
Thanks for that. I'll get around to reading them in a while here.

As as side note, I really have to say how much i appreciate and admire the cast of Firefly/Serenity. They really are great to their fans. It's not ofter that you see a group of people who really stop to look and take notice of why they have the things they have.
 
I also love her..From the time she appeared in 'Mountain Horizont'...I'm sure not many of you have ever heard of the show,but it was really good and her character was really interesting and complex🙂
 
God I am so in love with Jewel... and I think it's very special that my first post on the boards after a few absent months is about her.

I've seen all of the unaired episodes of Wonderfalls, except two which I will have sometime soon (nerd4hire... I can hook you up with the eps if you need them). Jewel does play a bitca in Wonderfalls... and she's just as funny as she was in Firefly. Although, I have to say she is way cuter as Kaylee. You kinda have to hate her in Wonderfalls which sucks.

I'm going to PM you OK, FiveByFive? The last time I looked I could only find up to ep 4. I won't mind seeing Jewel play a bitca. I can take it, and really who could be cuter than Kaylee? 🙂
