New leaf?

I am trying to turn over a new leaf and start seeing things anew. Letting go of some of the things I thought I needed to hold onto to protect myself..

I would like to symbolize this metamorphosis by putting myself up for adoption.

Gee, thanks. Makes me feel like that lone Cabbage Patch Kid that sits on the shelf because no one wanted it but the slow person had to buy because they came to the store so late all the good ones were gone. I don't feel like a purdy butterfly anymore.. where's my black trenchcoat?? I knew I put it away too soon!
