Hey everyone,
My name is Kate and I'm from New Brunswick, Canada.
I can't believe that I've been a fan of Buffy for almost 11 years and I'm just joining this forum now.
I'm really excited to get to know all of you.

Where would you recommend me starting out ?
I know I'm on one other forum "the Hedley forum" but this one is a little different at getting started.

I'm thinking I might have to go over to bad eggs, just got get used to the place.
Canada is pretty awesome, well all of it except for New Brunswick haha. We have like nothing here.

I'm currently 17. I figure by the time I'm 29, I will be all settled with what I want to do with my life, and I will be fed up with America by then. And if I'm married or whatever, I will want to start in a new place, and I've always wanted to do that in Canada. Plus, pulling in the 30th birthday in Canada sounds like a great idea.

So tell me, does this forum get a lot of traffic ? Like do a lot of people come on all the time ?
I know around here there are NO existing Buffy fans it seems.

Actually, once I'm able to I plan on moving to Toronto, pretty much the same as Ontario.
As of right now, I have my heart set on being a Journalist.
More of a broadcasting Journalist someone in front of the camera.

This is so random, but I keep seeing the name Merrick every where, is she from that show I think it's called True Calling ? I have yet to see it so I'm not familiar with it.

The boards are kind of like Hogwarts. There are four houses.
Drogyn, Merrick, Raiden, and Vahla Ha'Nesh.
Drogyn is a character from Angel, keeper of the Deeper Well
Merrick is Buffy's first watcher who died.
Raiden- I'm guessing it's about Gwen Raiden, the woman with electric powers.
Vahla Ha'Nesh- Illyria's kingdom. I'm pretty sure it refers to her army.

You go the the Sorting Tome thread and ask to be sorted.

Do I have any say as to where I get sorted ? Or is it just at random ?
 
Don't listen to him! Vahla Ha'Nesh is OBVIOUSLY the way to go. 🙂
