Greetings everyone! I'm new to the forum, and just thought I should introduce myself.

My name's Allison (if you couldn't tell from my username), and I'm a 17 year old girl from upstate New York. Until a recent move, I have had no cable access since I was approximately nine years old. The only times I would be able to watch BtVS and/or Angel would be at friends' houses, or when I visited my grandparents in Florida. Occasionally my grandmother would even tape episodes for me and send them through the mail.

I love BtVS and Angel, but for obvious reasons, I don't consider myself to be truly part of the fandom. I've seen as much of it as I can, but for the most part, they're all episodes out of order and from various seasons.

By joining this forum, I hope to become more aquatinted with other BtVS and Angel fans, and perhaps learn a little more about the episodes I've missed.

Also, thankfully, most of the episodes I have seen all deal with the relationship between Buffy and Angel in some way. I am a huge supporter of Buffy/Angel and their love, and as such, I'd very much appreciate it if any other fans could direct me to information or sites concerning them.

Hi Allison...I'm a big Buffy/Angel fan as well.....watch out for the Spuffy fans.....they bite.....I'm only joking 😉....like Mr Pointy said, it's a pretty friendly place....so welcome 😀 Have fun and stay active!!
 
Hi Allison and welcome!!!!! I'm sure we can convert you into a hard-core fan like most of us here! 🙂

If you can, to really appreciate the Buffy and Angel series in all their greatdom, you should rent the DVDs and watch them in order.

Or you could just jump the gun and buy them! 🙂

Have fun here and I'll see ya around soon! These boards are very friendly and PM me if you need anything. One way I started knowing a lot about the shows was reading the shooting scripts. You might not want to spoil yourself as much, though... Or you can read reviews of AtS here.

And I'd love to purchase the DVDs. Unfortunately, I don't have a DVD player. But if I did, I'd certainly rent/buy them all! Are they only on DVD now? I've yet to see any VHS sets around...
