New member - Wife addicted to Buffy?

Hello peeps!

I'm new here. So please don't kill the noob!

Anyways, here is my story.

My wife has a severe obsession with Buffy / Angel. It is SO BAD. All day, every day I am forced to watch Buffy or Angel. Not bad shows to begin with, but to the magnitude that I have to watch them...HOLY COW!

What can I do to curb the obsession???
 
Forced?

Maybe force her to watch something else too, for the same amount of time she makes you watch Buffy. Then she might get that it's bothering. Or, you know, simply don't watch it.

Maybe show her this forunm, so she can talk and talk and talk with us, so her obbsession gets a new outlet.

I agree with everyone. If she joined the Buffy boards... she may be able to talk about the shows more. But I'm not sure it'll stop her from watching the shows(Angel/Buffy) all the time.
 
Can't disagree with anyone else here on what they've all said, show her this site and see if that calms things down a bit! Although she'll probably still watch it all the same lol.

For a sec, I thought this was my husband posting, but then I read the "all day everyday" bit and realized it wasn't. 🙂 It's more like, a few episodes per week!

Anyway, there's nothing you can do, sorry! Just enjoy the fact that you have a wife with excellent taste! Do you enjoy the shows yourself? You say they're "not bad..." do you think you might be able to raise that to "good" someday? You might have to find a way--maybe you can do that here on the BB!
 
Dude, your wife sounds awesome. Be happy that she is sharing this magical part of her life with you. Do not see it as being forced, see it as lovingly pushed to watch it.
