Any takers?🙂 The trailer looks like it could be bat shit insane in all the right ways or it could be very annoying. But I like the people involved so will give it a watch.

My guess is that every "death" is going to be kind of a dream within a dream within a dream scenario. The original hit would put her in a coma and the subsequent reliving of the same night is just going to be a little version of her in her head. It goes with the Russian Doll title.

Could be interesting. Each episode is about sitcom length so think I'll give it a watch.
Yep, that sounds logical for American TV Producers 1 season of episodes of all the ways some chick died, yet they cancelled Firefly.

Depends how they do it. That was the set up for Groundhog Day and that was a classic. I enjoyed Happy Death Day too.

I just started this, before I saw the thread! So I had no idea what to expect. I like the cynicism so far, it makes me feel far less crazy. The episode are short (which is annoying cos my Netflix doesn't autoplay) and I am already up to episode 3. No idea what's going on but had a few laughs so far. I'll probably fly through it.

That's what I heard that it was less about the redemption arc than Groundhog Day.
Just watched the pilot and I am liking it enough so far. The humour is hit and miss. But I am like the mood and style. It's trippy and surreal in a way I like. Its Natasha Lyonne that makes it tick. Her reactions to things unfolding is are great🙂

I binged watched the first few episodes because of this thread. I know I’m not going to find out what’s going on, but it’s crazy enough to keep me interested!

I have finished it and really enjoyed it. Its short but powerful and one of the better Netflix shows.
