This guy has always REALLY creeped me out. The prison periodically updates its inmate files, here's a new pic of him taken yesterday. He's 74 and will come up for parole again in 2012.

What do y'all think? Still a menace to society? Or just some old guy serving a life sentence who probably doesn't have too many more years left. Weird....come to think of it, he's the same age as my mom.

That doesnt mean he doesn't belong there. Its a complex subject...sure at this age, he clearly isnt a threat to society but i still believe sentences exist to exact appropriate punishment. The fact that he may be deemed 'innocent' in our present time does nothing to diminish ones crimes from the past.
 
His eyes are black...completely black.

The swastika on his forehead doesn't exactly help either.

He actually reminds me of Suddam Hussein.
 
The worst thing about Charles Manson to me has never been what he, himself, did as much as what he inspired others to do, EAGERLY, for him. No, that's not just "some old guy serving a life sentence." That is as close to the image of evil incarnate as you are ever likely to see in this world.

I know, isn't he creepy? I don't care how old he is...he deserves to stay in prison until he's dead. And then to be buried on the prison grounds thereafter.

I don't know, I think he's still a threat and in no way innocent. They say he's very charismatic....who's to say that if let out on parole he wouldn't gather up a bunch of followers and start killing people again? Probably wouldn't be that hard, there ARE people who hail him as a hero.

He's just an old guy who means nothing, same as he was when he was a young guy who meant nothing. He's wasted his life on pointless murders. The End.

Clem Rocks, there's Charles Manson info here and here. The second site has a lot of little-known info about him, The Family, updates on what's happened since the murders took place, etc. Very informative site.
 
He is defiantly still a threat. I would venture to say he will never get parole, he will spend his remaining years in prison. He is very interesting though, I would say right up there with Hitler considering he has the ability to manipulate people so well and get them to basically do his bidding.
 
Like WA said, the way he got others into a cult and got them to carry out murders of innocent people (RIP Sharon Tate, I love her), she was pregnant too at the time, right? Horrific.

He's a looney, I've seen videos of him singing in jail, he's a nutjob.

They're actually a very dark shade of brown, just barely noticeable.

I think that's the first picture I've seen of him. I didn't know he had a swastika tattoo on his forehead. Creepy.
Hopefully he'll never get out of prison, he's supposed to be a very charismatic guy. You're not losing your charm just because you get old. Definitely still a threat and not just some old man in prison.
 
Look at him. When he's out, he's not gonna murder anyone! Or he might do it from his wheelchair..hmm...Anywho, the guy's been in jail for so long, I bet he wants to spend his last years free, and not do, as my mother would say, anything stoopid

Truly a sane person would want to spend their last few years free and not do anything stupid. This guy, though, is not really known for things like sanity.
 
Well even an insane weirdo would know what not to do. And besides, he's over 70! A 5 year old could run from him. If you get caught by him, you really deserves to die! A shout out to ppl near Manson: GET IN SHAPE! You fat, you die
 
Problem is: He formed a cult and had others happily murdering for him. Which is way worse - that's what I think. He could still do that - no matter how old he is.
 
Is it wrong I kind think he looks like a sweet old man? little sweet charlie 🙂. I think he should stay in prison, but not under the conditions that he's in at the moment, give him more freedom to mix with other people.
