After the first trailer I was really not seeing the point. (no pun intended) but this trailer is not bad actually.. it gives you alittle more of the story and honestly it has me curious now.

Plus Ray Winstone FTW.

You're on a pun roll

why?, why destroy the classics?. Give the movie a new name and the characters too with a similar story. Why do they have to tie these emotionless stunt imagines with good old movies?

It actually looks like a better story than the old Point Break, so I might watch it when it comes out on cable. But in a theatre? Naw, don't think so at the prices they are charging.

It is pointless and just looks awful. The casting in the original was so much better. I don't see the action scenes in this being as effective either.

At last this trailer was better than the last one.
It was much better! I like that Bodhi is more of an anti-hero and is painted in more of a heroic light. I really liked the vibe of it. It could be an interesting little flick. (I still think they doomed it by calling it Point Break, but the movie looks interesting)

I didn't see the first trailer, just this one. Looks good but slightly irritating they are calling it Point Break.

Well its a safing term right? So it does kinda make sense. I'm glad they kept that title because it marks it out more as a remake and will help fans of the original avoid it.😀

to be quite honest, not only acting, but looks and natural mannerism matters a lot when it comes to doing a role. This guy who plays Bodhi, i hated him the minute his face showed up, this is not the Bodhi we were accustomed to. Doesnt have the right mannerism, the right talk, the right walk, the right personality that eventhou you know he's bad, you kind of like him and want to cheer for him a bit, but you know that he gotta go down, it gotta be that way🙂. This guy is no Bodhi, patrick swayze was just too good.

Yeah I may have been no big Swayze fan but I did love his performance in Point Break. And Gary Busy is another one who was just so damn good and the perfect fit for his role. Reeves is more replacement, but that still wouldn't make me want to see the film.

Swayze was good in this, and im a fan of some of his movies like Ghost and roadhouse(love that movie). I hear people say that a good actor can pull any role, and that's not true, eventhought you are acting, you are bringing your own natural mannerism, you your own stile and personality into a role and also the right look.

He was good in Dirty Dancing too. I think the thing is he got a little too pigeon holed into playing that romantic type of role than it did get boring quite fast, so I do like the films where he plays it a bit more nasty or dark such as in Donnie Darko.

A terrible, stunt-laiden, charisma-free trailer.

Even Ray Winston seems bored.

I'll stick with the original, at least that wasn't pretentious twaddle- it was a simple bank robbery movie with added surfing.
