"New" Posts

This isn't a HUGE deal, just a potential glitch I've been noticing. The "this many new posts since your last visit" thingy doesn't count threads I've already read unless I hit the "mark forums read" button. It'll tell me there's still 5 left after I've read all of them, then when I try to go to the new ones, it says there's no new ones!

Nothing I can't work around, just curious.

I thought it was a counter of how many posts since the last time you logged out and not how many you have left to view.
 
For me it's easier to just click "View Posts In Last 24 Hours" if you've seen the post it will look dimmed, if you haven't it will be bold. Works better anyways ^_^
 
Yeah I did notice that - when the mod author updated it for the new version it started not working properly all the time. I *think* it might be counting posts you have made as new, but not counting them as read already? Vbulletin is coming up on a major upgrade so I was waiting to see if it still even works with that before I invest the time to try and get it fixed. A little annoying I know, but no use having to fix it twice imho. 🙂
 
I noticed that there's another bug concerning the New Posts feature:

Does it break the new posts into groups? Those circles contain posts that are from the same area (one is season 5 one is Check IN)
