โ€œThe hard bit is making leather from cells, and weโ€™ve done that." So, couldn't they make fake leather from cow cells? And who's going to know the difference?

I appreciate that people are thinking ahead when it comes to potential dinosaur cloning, like โ€œwhat products can we make out of themโ€.

Excited to see the inevitable โ€œDinosaur meat now availableโ€ from your favorite fast food franchises!

That is a shame, Hungry Jacks won't be hungry any longer.

Well, one of the first reactions humans have to something new is "Can I eat it?" ๐Ÿ˜€

Joining the Latin dance circuit has been one of the most entertaining things I have done. And I have done something most dancers have not done: found a girlfriend. The reaction has gone from "They are one of the few success stories on the dance circuit" to outright jealousy to saying, "She has you on a leash." I am getting a very good education on how to evaluate whether someone is a friend or enemy or just urging caution and no, no one has me on a leash except our dog.

The guy who got me into the dance circuit has a number of girls orbiting around him at any given time and he often referred to me as his "Junior gigolo". But I have not found any interest in going through women like they were commodities. He is disappointed that I have not made his choice, but I guess that is how he rolls, not me.

I now have seven Easter eggs, Dairy Milk White & Marble, Aero Peppermint Bubbles, Cadbury's Twirl, Orange Smarties, Lindt milk chocolate and two Cadbury's White Chocolate Buttons, as well as 12 Cadbury's Creme Eggs and a Creme Egg bar in my fridge. Along with other chocolate that is not Easter related.

Not a heck of a lot of room left for actual food...

Since my sister and I are currently on speaking terms, I agreed to ride with her to see mom tomorrow (Mother's Day). But I'm having second thoughts. Every time I've ridden with her, she finds a reason to argue. ๐Ÿ˜ก

If I DO go with her it means I'll be trapped at mom's nursing home. Unless I take an Uber home. Decisions, decisions! But I'm going to think positive.

Just keep thinking, "I'm doing this for Mom." Good luck!
Think I'm going to listen to the real expert here (taken from the article):

โ€œWe have NO preserved tyrannosaurid DNA (indeed, not Mesozoic dinosaur DNA sequences), so there are no T. rex genes,โ€ Thomas Holtz, Jr., a vertebrate paleontologist at the University of Maryland, told the outlet.

Holtz added that paleontologists have only found T. rex collagen in bone, not skin, which is the basis for leather, and that researchers donโ€™t have access to good tyrannosaurid skin samples since itโ€™s rarely preserved in fossils."

Ah, that's just ruining the fun!
I did not think the dogs would like salt and vinegar chips. I was wrong.

We thought we could convince our previous dog (Cujo the Samoyed) to stop begging for food by giving him a Brussel Sprout. Chomp, chomp, chomp, gulp.

Toby, our Border Collie loves tomatoes so much, we have to add pureed tomato sauce to his food. or he won't eat it.

If I walk a third of a mile, stop at a cafe to have a cake, then walk back, am I defeating the object of walking as exercise?

Like I said in another post - as long as you swing your arms, then you're all good to work off that cake!
