I'm new to the site and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me about buffy boards etiquette etc

Rules/FAQ is a good way to learn things about the boards. Even if I think most people skip reading it. Here's the overall thing for the members but there's loads more on the features and such.

What We Expect

- kindness and respect towards your fellow members

- including everyone, even newbies, in discussion on the board and in the chat

- leaving the enforcement of board rules to the staff

- listening to directions given by the staff

- leaving snide comments and personal attacks off the board

- not going along with bullying, gossiping and other bad behavior by others on the board and standing up for the rights of your fellow members
