hey, im trying to write a story kind of thing, read it and tell me what you think by leaving a message and voting on the poll- please suggest improvement, give ideas, spot errors if you can and if you have ideas for what happens next or want to write an episode. also if you like what i write then please can you add to my reputation.
The world was safe once again, thanks to Buffy and her friends, however another world, where Buffy and her friends no longer existed was on the verge of ending.
The first, after being defeated came to this world in a hope of winning a fight it had previously lost in our world. It hoped to do this by using hindsight to change an event which would later be its downfall, this event was the resurrection of Buffy, a vampire slayer.
The first did not have the power to turn back time however this other world, although identical to ours, runs behind ours. So although in our world Sunnydale was destroyed and the hellmouth closed, in the other world Sunnydale is still there and the hellmouth is still active.
The first had already succeeded in changing the event in order to stop it from being defeated before the powers that be had time to act but now they where trying to ensure that the first did not succeed in the war it had lost in our reality.
The Powers that be asked Cordelia Chase to help, in our reality she had died, at this time she had been given the choice to either go to one of the thousands of heavenly dimensions or she could become a higher power, once again and continue the fight against evil.
She had decided to become a higher power which meant she transcended time and space and could see everything that happens in all realities.
When alive she knew many of the champions of our reality, three vampire slayers, one of the most powerful witches to have ever existed, the key and two vampires with a soul. Therefore she was the perfect being to help them with this task.
The powers that be asked her to construct a team of people with gifts that could help defeat the first. After consulting the powers that be she was sent to a room that bridged realities, the room was white and filled with light. From this room she could call people from all realities in order to construct her team.
Once the team was constructed Cordelia would also be able to personify some of their powers so they would be strong enough to fight the first.
She was also given the tachk horn from a Kunghi demon, she remembered using this horn to kill a demon with empathic abilities called Barney. The horn had drained his life force, which included his abilities, Cordelia was told to pass on the abilities from the horn to a mortal, of her choice. This mortal would be part of the team.
The powers that be also told Cordelia that the team should also have four warriors, an evil warrior on the side of good, three witches, an impender and a creature with primal instincts.
The powers that be had also made it compulsory for the key to be involved, although Cordelia could not see why, for the key was inactive and pretty much powerless. But she did as she was instructed, she had learnt not to question the powers that be, she remembered when she first got her visions from Doyle and she had tried to pass them on, sometimes she forgot how much she has grown since then. To her it seemed like those days of her life, before she got the powers of a seer, where another life. Like Sunnydale and everything that happened there, never really happened, more like she just watched it happen. Maybe it was just because she was so used to watching things now, rather than doing things, that her old memories of doing things with Buffy and the scoobies seemed like she just watched them happen.
The first person she was going to call was Buffy, a slayer, although there where many different Buffys in different realities, she decided to clone the Buffy she knew from her own reality. The reason she had to clone Buffy is that the real Buffy was still alive in her reality so therefore could not be removed, or should not be removed.
Cordelia made a circle, with white sand and uttered the words
"ouvertai lee pertel"
A great white portal opened inside the white sand circle, Cordelia then instructed the portal.
Cordelia: bring me Buffy the vampire slayer from the world of my origin.
She then concentrated on the memory of Buffy. If she didn't concentrate on the memory of Buffy then the portal could then bring the wrong Buffy Summers, which is not what she wanted.
Buffy came jumping through the portal, she looked confused, bewildered and she was completely naked.
Buffy looked at Cordelia with a look of shock on her face, she was clearly puzzled and also now that she realised she was naked, she was also embarrassed.
Cordelia looked at Buffy, waved her hand at her and she was clothed. Buffy, was even more confused than ever.
Buffy: Cordelia what is going on, why are you her, aren"˜t you dead. Oh no! I haven"˜t died again have I.
Cordelia: No, your not dead, I cant really explain, all I can say at the moment is your needed to fight that first dude again, god, now that I think about it you just never get a break.
Buffy: yeah I know, it comes with the gig
Cordelia: hey you think being a slayers hard, trying being a higher being, at least you can sleep. (Buffy gave Cordelia a cynical look.) Ok I'll shut up, (mutters) its always just me, me, me with you.
Buffy: what?
Cordelia: nothing, just wait here, I'm going to need your help soon.
Buffy: Ok, whatever you say.
Cordelia walked over to the portal and touched it, it began to change , as did the room. Everything went dark until the light suddenly exploded with light.
Buffy: what did you do? (shouting, clearly she had been stifled)
Cordelia: I empowered the portal.
Buffy: oh, why?
Cordelia: because we're not finished yet. (Buffy once again looked confused) Buffy, come here hold my hand. (Buffy did as she was told, but looked as though she didn't like being bossed around by Cordelia)
Buffy: ok, now what, do we sing?
Cordelia: No, just repeat after me (Buffy nodded) bring forth the soul of Kendra the vampire slayer from the ghost roads and create a body, a vessel for her soul. (Buffy repeated). Now concentrate on the memory of Kendra.
Buffy: Ok (Buffy closed her eyes and concentrated)
Kendra came through the portal, she was naked but Cordelia clothed her before Buffy had even noticed. Kendra, unlike Buffy looked happy to be there, however this is understandable because Kendra had been wandering the ghost roads since she died. Not knowing where she was, why she was there or where she was going.
FYI- the ghost roads are like purgatory, its where dead people who die suddenly go because they can't accept they're dead.
Buffy opened her eyes, she saw Kendra, she looked as though she could not believe her eyes. Buffy and Kendra smiled at each other with looks of pure joy and then embraced.
Buffy: (they separated) hi
Kendra: hi
Buffy: yeah, erm, I don't really know what's going on but I'm sure we'll"¦
Kendra: oh, it is ok, I kind of know what is happening.
Cordelia: I'm sorry I don't mean to interrupt but how do you know what's happening.
Kendra: a seer passing through the ghost roads, around four to five human years ago told me that one day I would leave the roads but not to pass on, it would be to help save a world. He said a woman of great beauty would summon me.
Cordelia: Doyle.
Kendra: yes that was his name, did you know him. (Cordelia didn't answer, she looked stunned)
Buffy: erm"¦ yeah they where friends, (turning to Cordelia) Cordelia are you ok.
Cordelia: yeah, (not really listening but then her head suddenly turns to Kendra and snaps, not meanly though) Kendra did Doyle move on or is he still on the ghost roads.
Kendra: yeah he left straight away, he said he wasn't meant to be there, he said he knew why he died and he was happy with it. He said he only came on to the roads because before he died he had a vision that showed him I should not move on because I would be needed.
Cordelia: damn.
Buffy: what?
Cordelia: We need a seer and the only other seer I know is Angel and I need him as a warrior.
Buffy: Angels not a seer, what do you mean you need him as a warrior?
Cordelia: Angel is a seer now, before I died I passed on my visions to him.
Buffy: wait, when I talked to Angel when I went to LA to stop Faith, he said you could only pass the visions on to someone you love, oh"¦
You and Angel.
Cordelia: yeah, we had a thing but other things got in the way.
Buffy: Preaching to the choir, (they both giggle, Buffy then changes the subject becoming very bossy) why do you need a seer and what do you mean you need him as a warrior.
Cordelia: the PTB told me that I need four warriors, a seer, an evil warrior on the side of good, three witches, an impender and a creature with primal instincts.
Buffy: what's an impender?
Cordelia: it's a"¦ (Kendra interrupts.)
Kendra: it's someone with a power to see a small distance into the future but can't change what happens.
Buffy: I forgot how much of a bookworm you where.
Kendra: careful or I'll test your reflexes with a few punches to the face (Jokingly)
Cordelia: huh.
Buffy: private joke
Cordelia: right, we should probably continue.
Buffy: why, have you figured out what your going to do yet?
Cordelia: not really.
Buffy: ok, well don't you think we should.
Cordelia: ok.
Buffy: so you need a seer, why not use Angel.
Cordelia: because we need him as a warrior.
Buffy: why don't you just use Spike or another slayer as a warrior.
Cordelia: I'm using spike for something else, well possibly and I can't call people I haven't met.
Buffy: what about faith, she's a slayer.
Cordelia: who do you think is my third warrior.
Kendra: so what are we going to do?
Cordelia: I think I have an idea, we can use spike as a warrior and I have someone else in mind for an evil warrior on the side of good.
Buffy: Who?
Cordelia: Fred.
