I haven't checked the boards much recently so I'm not really sure if this has been posted before, but this just occurred to me. Isn't anyone a little bit WORRIED about every potential slayer in the world gaining slayer powers? Not all of them have some training, I'm guessing most have no exposure to the world of slaying whatsoever. So basically there's X amount of girls running around throughout the world with superhuman strength and no idea what to do with it. So hypothetically, couldn't a good number of those potential slayers happen to have been bad people when they get their power? There could be a lot more evil slayers running around, which is bound to create problems. Just look how much trouble Faith caused when she was evil, and that was just one.
 
well who knows they wont be causeing any big apocoplyses probably and their were only about 100 potenitals alive in the end since The First got rid of most of them
 
Yep, it dont mean there all evil, I mean they only showed 5 or so more slayers, it dont have to mean that there are like hundreds of them out there maybe like 10-50 more or so...and Im sure that will be explained in Angel hopefuly.
But I can see your concern.

That would be a good episode for season 5. A group of new slayers decide to try and kill Angel because they are being manipulated by something evil.
 
I read that Joss said that this problem will be dealt with on Angel.
 
*Sigh, this is just a personal opinion, but I don't think that "Angel" should deal with the slayer problem. First off, "Angel" is not about Slayers or the slayer mythology, that was oringinally reserved for "Buffy". Secondly, I think that the whole slayer issue is too big than to have just one episode about it. It should be a running thing in the season and honestly, I can't see where dealing with too many slayers is really Angels problem, it's the people who made the spells issue. Hence I think that the issue with the Slayers should be dealt with in whatever upcoming spinoff Joss wants to do (Whenever that may be) but those are just my thoughts. I just want to see things done right.
 
hes not going to deal with all these new Slayers, its only common sense that if you become a new slayer and find out what you are and find out whats in the city you live in; you go after it. These Slayers will probably be trying to kill Angel and well he would have to deal with atleast 2 since well their would be slayers in LA and he lives in LA

I hope they bring it up because that could be an opening for some great storyline. That could even be a good way to maybe bring Faith or Buffy on to guest star.
Did anyone else hear that SMG would come back to guest star but not this season? That's too bad. You would think with her home being gone, her not being a lone slayer anymore and Spike and Angel coming together that she would come on over for a little closure THIS year.
 
SMG said its all up to schedualing, Joss is trying to get her in to do some eps mid season, Sweeps month
 
I hope they do clear up the problem. I also think it would be helpful to know of a couple of girls in the LA area with super strength that could help out every now and then. Not permanently, but just sometimes.
 
It would be great to see SMG guest star on Angel but I have a bad feeling that her "diva" side is going to take over and she will refuse.
 
I think we have more chance of seeing Eliza then SMG. That's okay with me. I'v always preferd Faith to Buffy (also Eliza doesn't seem to be a diva. Unlike some people *cough*Sarah*cough*).
 
Seriously! I mean, Eliza has been in just as many movies as Sarah. Yet Eliza still seems to have the time to go to cast parties and voice Faith in the new Buffy videogame.
 
well both of them are different, SMG has had to do 2 things during the beginning of Buffy, she had to film Buffy, take classes and star in movies and she did 3 during like the first 2 yrs of Buffy.
She is now married and wants to spend some time with her husband who doesnt want to go to these things since he is and has never been intrested in it at all and she had to film Scooby Doo and some of Scooby Doo2 during Buffy and she had to constantly fly back and forth during the first Scooby Doo.

and they even comfirmed that SMG couldnt make the cast party because she had to film SC2 at the time and she has to get the film done by a certain date. SMG is a very busy women and she is only 26

Eliza never had to worry about doing a show and movie at the same time and she isnt married and this yr she just had to film and buffy episode and then do her pilot.

Alyson Hannigan is doing the same thing SMG did with filming a show and doing a movie at the same time but she has more time on her hands and her hubby actually likes the show and cast
 
I guess noone can really understand SMG other than herself. We don't know what's going on in her head. Calling her a "diva" might've put me a little out of line since I don't really know what's going on in her personal life.
 
I dont think SMG is a diva, im sure shes a nice friendly person, shes just got a hectic schedule. Besides, SMG is more famous than Eliza, if SMG was walking down the street with Freddy it is likely a paporazi would take their pic, if Eliza was walking down a street with some guy would we see it in the paper? Thats the way it is, SMG is more famous and hence busier.

Anyway, I'd like to see the slayer issue being brought up, maybe Spike could mention it.
 
I have a question thats like sort of on this topic. If the first evil, which is like the 'root of all evil' was destroyed and the hell mouth was destroyed, then what evil will be left on 'Angel'? I dont really watch 'Angel' so I have no clue if he fights evil or anything, but I think he does.
