New "Street Fighter" Movie

Has anyone else heard anything about this movie?

Apparently, Kristin Kreuk is finally going to be using her martial arts training in a movie. (More chop sockey and wire work from the looks of the trailer, but still fun to watch)

It has Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog I believe I heard.

I've known about this for about 6 months.
I'm not sure if I am pleased about it because as attractive as Kreuk is she is so whiney as Lana Lang that I want to punch her in the face in everything she does...and I abhore violence!

I've seen some of Kristin's legitimate martial arts work, and she's really good. Hopefully, she'll be able to bring some of that to the character, and not just the fake wire work crap that is usually in this kind of movie.

I'm super excited about the movie. I hope it's not as cheesy as I'm expecting it to be. But with that being said, I do have to say I loved (and still love) the version with Jean-Claude Van Damme so I'm not expecting too much.
