Lionsgate has released the second trailer for director Drew Goddard's The Cabin in the Woods, which arrives in theaters nationwide April 13. Take a look at new footage from this upcoming horror tale starring Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, and Bradley Whitford.

Looks interesting. Do you guys think its European release will only be limited? Or do they release it in other countries at all?
 
I'm not seeing anything spectacular from these trailers, It was kinda over hyped as a cool new take on the horror/slasher flick, with comedy thrown in.

I'm not seeing anything but the bog standard horror/slasher from the adds.
 
Well, there are some kind of science fiction elements. I don't think it's just the normal modern slasher film.
The Idea is kind of weird though, but still interesting, in my opinion.

What I dislike are those kids. Typical modern horror characters that you can't seem to like and wish they'd die a painful death.

This flick has an odd mix of elements, but me likey that sort of thing anyway. I'll be waiting to give it a thorough watch. :: tu ::

Heh. 😀 But, following that same standard formula, there's always at least ONE or perhaps two likeable kids among the crowd of assholes. Hopefully it remains the case here. I have no interest in watching a group of ALL jerks. 😛

Or maybe not. Is he playing the pothead? 'Cause they're mostly assholes 😱
 
I'm expecting this to be better than the standard horror film as I find them a bit dull. The trailer does look pretty good, hoping there will be some funny dialogue to keep it interesting and not too run of the mill.
 
I think I've said this before. I might watch it but if I do it's because of some of the actors and the people behind the movie. I'm not a horror movie person and the trailer do nothing for me.
