New Title & Summary

Fox TV Distribution's official site has a press release about all of their pilots. here's what they have about Eliza's pilot:

Writer: Jon Feldman (Dawson's Creek, American Dreams)

Cast: Eliza Dushku (Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Bring It On)

Director: Phillip Noyce (The Quiet American, Clear and Present Danger)

Logline: A young woman, who witnessed her mother's murder as a child, can step back a day in time to try and stop other murders from occurring.

The things I've read have said a day, but I don't know for sure. The summary of the pilot script Faith_Forever posted makes it seem like it's just a day as well.

I'm not sure if it's only a day or not. I think I've heard it's only a day, but the rules might not be set. Since the victims are the people at the morgue, they're probably just died. But they're probably going to be making up the rules as they go along. Tru has no idea what's going on. What happens if she doesn't save the person? What if she needs to save someone who died more than a day before? There's a lot they could do with those types of scenerios to keep the show fresh.

Just a note on the title. The Fox pilot Wonder Falls had six title changes before they announced the latest new title with the pickup announcement. It was Destiny Falls before that. So Fox is being insane with title changes. Don't get attached to any title. They'll probably end up changing it again before they settle on something.

It's possible it's going to be titled 'Tru', but I'd say don't go changing the graphics yet because Fox will probably change it yet again.

For example, Wonder Falls is now Wonderfalls. They haven't even stopped changing that yet. Fox can't stop tinkering with titles. They're insane.
