New to Buffy and want to read the books

Hey guys I've only seen the first season of Buffy and non of Angel so I was wondering witch books to read and witch to avoid. I don't wanna be spoiled. Can anyone help me? I'm in deep need.
 
In that case, it would be best to read the ones set in and around S1. 🙂 Which according to wikipedia are:
Halloween Rain
Night of the Living Rerun
Coyote Moon
How I Survived My Summer Vacation

I've only read Night of The Living Rerun and Coyote Moon out of those four, and they're okay, not the best of the BtVS books, though.
 
I agree with BOF, you should read the one's around S1 cuz there's so many spoilers in other books...but the only one i've read is set after all seven seasons...but before the comics...So after you've watched all seven seasons i recomend Queen of the Slayers...i think it's really well written and alot of the dialog in it is what the characters would have said on the show...it also links in with the 5th season of Angel...but don't read it before season 7...which i guess is quite a way to go lol!

I've only seen the first season so It's gonna take some time to get around to season seven but trust that I will be working on it. Dose anyone know where I can by the books if I live outside the US? Norway in fact. Any online stores that sells them cheep...
 
I bought most of mine on ebay, for like 1 Euro per book. Sometimes ther's people who are apparetnly no fans anymore or something, well, they sell tons of boks together pretty cheap, so I would always watch out for bargains like that. Though shipping costs can be tricky. Sometimes the ones from the US can be very high (but not always, so its better to check carefully).
Other than that, I bought some in second hand bookshops. Though this was in London, i don't know if they have them in Norway.

I've been to 4 bookstores in my area...none of them ever have any Buffy books 🙁

Guess I will have to get over my fear of buying things over the internet
 
to buffed:

i would seriously recommend buying off amazon.com, i dont like buying over the internet but i trust amazon with my life 😀

it doesnt have all the buffy and angel novels but it has about 50% which is still good enough for me.
