New to Buffy forum, Long-time Buffy fan

Hi, I've been a Buffy fan since summer/autumn of 1999, when, in the uk, they were showing season 3 on sky and season 2 on bbc. The episodes that got me hooked were helpless, the zeppo, bad girls and consequences. I'm probably unusual in not seeing season 2 as one of the best series. Too many romantic episodes I think, although having said that, I only have eyes for you, was one of my favorites of that series, and all the cordelia, xander moments were great too. For me, seasons 5 and 6 are the best series, and seasons 3, 4 and 2 close behind. (In terms of original episodes, and being a big fan of all the buffy, spike stuff.) I hope that gives people an idea of what type of buffy fan I am 🙂

Any advice on what kind of things I can do on the forum would be good,

Welcome to BB Jonathan. I think i started watching Buffy around the same time as you. I can remember seeing season 2 on the BBC also.

This board is incredibly active for a show that ended seven years ago. There's a lot of chat about the show, people create art but its mostly about thoughts on episodes, the cast and the show in general. Hope you enjoy BB.🙂

Hey, Welcome to the boards.😀 Season 5 is one of my favorite seasons too.
 
Welcome to BB Jonathan 😀 You're not alone Season 2 is actually my least favorite season. I like 5 and 6 a lot too.
 
Welcome to the boards Jonathan! I loved s5 as well, and I am so glad you love s6 too! It's my all time favorite season! We can never get enough s6 love round these parts 😀

Hi Jonathan! :welcome: You know, there's some people that consider season 1-3 to be the "real" Buffy and what happens after isn't the same so getting more members that appriciate season 5 and 6 is great. My favourites as well.
 
Yes, I am a big fan of that episode, its a completely unique concept, with all the other characters fighting against appocalypse in the background, whilst xanders perspective on things develops in the foreground.
