New TV season plans

So, the new TV seasons has kicked of or is still kicking off... depending on the network, I spose... what are your plans, what shows are you going to watch? Especially, what show featuring B/A alumni (cast or crew) are you going to watch?
 
I'm going to start watching a couple of them.

Veronica Mars-I've seen it a few times but now that Charisma is going to be in it,I'm really gonna get into it.

Bones-It looks intresting and I'm curious to see how it turns out.

Supernatural-It kinda reminds me of Buffy and Angel so I'm going to watch the pilot when it airs.

Smallville-I watch it from time to time and hopefully I'll start watching it regularly.It's a pretty good show.

For me this TV season is:

Gilmore Girls - either s5 on Dutch telly or s6 with the US. Haven't decided yet.
Hex - British Buffy... well, not really, but fun nevertheless.
the O.C. - Such a fun show... the premiere was a bit disappointing, but has potential.
Nip/Tuck - Now, there's a refreshing show for you 😉 The s2 cliff-hanger was huge and I'm really curious; I've been waiting since January I think!

Since everybody's raving Desperate Housewives, Lost, and Veronice Mars I might check one of them out... haven't decided yet.
 
currently, i'm hooked on Lost, i think it's fantastic, and the only show i'm really addicted to at the moment.
but i REALLY looking forward to 'Bones' i can't wait for it to start!

Well, I'm a bit disappointed 'cause I won't have TV or internet at home but I'll do my best to watch as many of these shows as possible. My #1 prioroty is Veronica Mars.. And then there is The OC, Reunion (which I didn't know existed but really want to watch now that I do), Bones, How I met your mother, Kitchen Confidential... Oh I love the TV shows too much, there are so many more I want to watch but, I guess that'll have to wait...

The thing I look forward to more then anything right now is the new Veronica Mars season. But I'll also be watching Desperate Housewives, Lost, Oc, How I Met Your Mother..

Well let's see......
I'm still going to watch Medium, CSI and Law & Order:SVU. Also Veronica Mars, I like what I've seen so far.
I'm going to have to tape NCIS, because it's on at the same time as Bones.
I also want to see Criminal Minds, I think there was something else but I can't remember right now. It'll come to me later. Oh and there's a show on FOX I watch sometimes but I can't remember the name.

I had totally forgotten taht it was returning. I'll do my best to watch that one, just because Jemima Roper (no idea how her name is spelt) is so much fun.

And hopefully Veronica Mars and Smallville..oh and Family guy (I think that they've got some new episodes).
 
I only watch Lost. I watched the whole season last year and it starts again soon.

I wanted to watch "Reunion" but I already missed the pilot (duh), so we'll see.

I might catch How I Met Your Mother.

Basically, I'm too busy to watch TV. All I ever watch is the Style network and football on the weekends.

I finally got all of the Supernatural pilot watched, and I was impressed. The Hardy Boys with an edge...I'm gonna catch the next ep of Bones since I missed the pilot. I have high hopes for this one, as Kathy Reichs is a great writer, and these are her characters...

As for the rest, all the CSIs are programmed into the tape machine, as well as Desperate Housewives, and my newest pick-up due to reruns, Medium. Now I'm just hoping to find the time to watch all of 'em...

And that's really about it. I wish I knew when and what network that Stuart Townshend show was going to be on. Or even the...title.
 
Stuart Townsend show is entitled Night Stalker and it premieres Thursday, September 29 at 9 pm on ABC. It isn't getting good reviews.

OK, returning shows

Lost"”clever, complicated drama, transcending any "genre" label

24"”never get tired of the formula. Too fun.

Alias"”Since the season 4 re-boot, the freshness is wearing off a little bit. But still really fun.

And I kinda like Medium. It's got the psychic thing going on. And it's also trying to go for a subtle domestic drama feel. Sorta like that old show, "Thirtysomething".



Not super excited about any new shows, really, but,

Bones"”want it to develop into something solid, compelling each week

Invasion"”sounds potentially creepy and fun

Supernatural"”was turned off on this from the beginning cause it's the WB and it just sounds generic and lame. But some of the previews made it sound interesting"”tapping into American folklore, urban legends like the X-Files did. Probably just not as subtle or smart, but...

Reunion"”could possibly develop into a good season-long mystery...

My Name is Earl"”looks like they're going for the feel of a fun indie-film comedy or Coen Brothers movie or something. Goofy, wacky like "Ed" was.

Night Stalker "”another X-Files wannabe. Hope it doesn't suck.



Most shows die a quick, painful death, so I hope at least a couple of these new ones stick around.
