Sooooo, I know I know it's 2 weeks away but do you have any plans yet? DO you celebrate it?

I have no plans of yet and will probably be staying at home and be on here lol.
 
Umm, I am either going out with my friends, or spending the week at my dads. Either way it is sure to be good! And I will find a way to get on here sometime too 😛
 
We might break tradition and go downtown and watch a Beatles cover band and fireworks... But we usually celebrate at home by eating double stuf Oreos and watching the ball drop.
 
No idea, all my friends have either completely forgotten I exist and neglected to include me in their plans or they haven't decided on anything yet. Ultimately I will probably be home alone with beer and rubbish TV. Meh.

I have no plans. 🙁 One friend invited me over for New Years, but I'm hoping there's something going on with other people, so I'm waiting to see. If not, I'll probably stay home.. again. 😛
 
Huge party at my place. I have the biggest house of everyone I know. And people seem to like sticking me with the clean up. LOL

But yeah, that's my plans. Good people, good music and good times. Pretty much what I do every year.

It's usually just any other day for me, except turn the TV channel to the ball drop at 11:59. Then change it back at 12:01 xD

I'm going to Southern Germany to party with some friends. One of my friends' grandmother lives there, and she's gone to the States til after New Years, so we can party in her house, really cool. Knowing the people that will be there, it'll be the sort of party nobody will actually remember the next day...
 
I rarely celebrate New Years as someone dear to me passed on the 1st of January 10 years ago and consequently it's never seemed like a time to celebrate. But this year me and my sister might go to a party at some friends house. I'm not sure, generally we just stay in and watch movies or come up with some kind of theme night and just enjoy each others company and I love that so it wouldn't bother me. I guess it depends a bit on what my neighbors are up to... if they're gonna have a loud party with kids stomping around above me I'll probably prefer staying away for a good part of the evening 🙂

I think my sister will still be in town, so we will probably play board games and drink wine while snacking on yummy food. 🙂
 
I don't feel like doing anything at all and that's probably how it'll end up. Feeling that way might be a sign of that I should do something. I've never been a party person. Or just being in a big group of people. Also, after my teens I've never liked mixing loud music and talking. One or the other please. 😀 Not that a new years party have to be like that. I just don't like the hype of it. It's new years so we must do something awesome. Oh, and we need to get wasted. Not my thing. Being boring is not the worst thing I've been called. It's many, many years since I stopped worrying about being alone on new years. In the mood I'm in now I much rather be alone than to go through the experience from last year. Not like it were a disaster or anything. Just not to my liking.

They have fireworks at the lake and that sounds nice. In theory. Being surrounded by wasted teens in the cold? I think I'll skip this year. Maybe I'll go outside to watch it since my windows are facing the wrong way but that's about it.

Maybe I'll end up chilling with a friend or two but it won't be on my initiative.

How do you celebrate New Year?

I am just interested how other's celebrate New Year! Normally we eat a great dinner then we make a small firework for my little brothers and sister and the we drive out to our grandparents and celebrate the "big" firework. What's about you?

(By the way please be carefull with firework just saw an article in the newspaper...uhh scary/and if you don't like to watch scary things don't look this video to the end)
