New Year's Eve - What are you doing?

So? Any plans for the evening?

We are staying in for the evening. Abbs might have a friend round, unsure at the moment as she/he is currently poorly. I have a couple of friends over in the evening for a few drinks and maybe a game or two...

Probably just stay at home and walk down to an overlook to see the fireworks/drones at midnight. I know drone shows* are less polluting, but I don't like them nearly as much.

*when they're not falling on people's heads, anyway

My band is playing the New Years Eve gig at our local Senior Center.....and wouldn't you know this had to happen yesterday! Unfortunately Hofner bass strings don't grow on trees, at least not around here anyway. Luckily I have a Jazz bass I can use.
