Don't worry. It took me a long time to figure them out as well. Sometimes I still get flummoxed by them. There needs to be a cheat sheet for what all of them mean.

Hey! I've been into Buffy since around 2004, even though i never caught it when it aired, basically saved all my allowances to buy the box sets, much to my mothers despise as for I was never much of a tv person so i was allowed a tv in my room when I was a teen, Buffy got me stayed up till 4am binging -good times-

As favourites characters go... well Spike obviously , I kinda love Anya as well (not sure how most people receive her so please don't hang me), early seasons Giles, and well, pretty much all the others except Riley, don't like Riley. Didn't love Cordy on BTVS but she made up for it in Angel

As far as seasons go... kinda hard to pick one... everyone had its ups and downs, loved 2, the whole Angel/Angelus arc, Spike and Dru... ahh i love them all, just think S7 even though had a lot be liked about just needed a better Big Bad than the First, or keep the first, have Caleb around earlier or something like that.

I did ask @HowiMetdaSlayer for help, but guessing we are on different time zones?

Not sure I even know what acronyms even are lol, so I’m probably not the best person to ask (I don’t use Internet forums much and I’m still quite new here). You should get the hang of it in time.

It is an abbreviation that can be pronounced as a regular word. Compare NATO to CIA.
kinda need some help with the acronyms as i can't seem to figure them out,

Acronyms are generally used in 3 instances on here:

  1. Episode titles
  2. Cast and writer names
  3. When talking about the attempted rape scene.

Whenever you see AR, it means attempted rape eg The AR was a horrible scene and there were other ways they could've pushed Spike to get a soul without doing that.

The cast and writer names are generally for the "big" characters like the scoobies, the whirlwind, and Joss Whedon and Marti Noxon. Sometimes Jane Espenson gets initialled as well.

SMG- Sarah Michelle Gellar
NB- Nicholas Brendon
ASH- Anthony Stewart Head
AH- Alyson Hannigan
SG- Seth Green
CC- Charisma Carpenter
MT- Michelle Trachtenberg
AB- Amber Benson
EC- Emma Caulfield
JM- James Marsters
JL- Juliet Landau
DB- David Boreanaz
JB- Julie Benz
JW- Joss Whedon
MN- Marti Noxon
JE- Jane Espenson

Episode titles are where you'll most likely see acronyms used, especially for the long titles like Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered which usually gets shortened to BB&B. Any episode 2 words or longer will probably have an acronym, some are used more than others.

Then you just get the general acronyms:

IMO/IMHO- In My Opinion/ In My Honest Opinion
JMO- Just My Opinion
OTOH- On The Other Hand
LOL- Laugh out loud

Does this help?

WSWB- When she was bad
WML- What's my line

IOHEFY that's harder to say than the actual name!!! I rarely see ppl using abbreviations for most episodes. It's usually OMWF that's it.
