I am not sure where to post this query.
but I was on a youtube page and this video said that Giles had found love
i think the video is called "buffy: where they are now" or something
and anyways I asked who he found love with and this woman posted saying that it was rumored to be with Faith, saying that he once told Faith that "he loved her" and Joss even hinted at it.

I am completely new to buffyverse I only started watching the show a few months ago. So anything that happens in season 8 I have no idea about because I have no way to get copies of the issues.
any help is appreciated. I am sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I've been scouring the internet for hours looking for some proof about this.
 
If it's okay with you Meg, I'd like to move this to our Inside Out (General Buffy and Angel Discussion) forum - this forum is just for new members, so I think it would reach a wider and more knowledgeable audience there 🙂 Unless someone answers in the meantime! None of that sounds familiar to me, though, but I don't have the encyclopedic knowledge of Buffy some of the folks around here have.

Also, if you pm me a link to that video I'll take a look 🙂

Hmm I don't remember Joss ever saying anything about Giles and Faith...

Hi Meg, Welcome to the boards.

Giles and Faith have been working together they've been doing some stuff outside of Buffy's knowledge, taking care of some of the jobs that would be harder (like going after a rogue slayer)

But there hasn't been any kind of romantic link between them as far as I've seen, they've definitely gotten closer but not romantic (although the comics are open to a bit more reader interpretation so I may have missed something, lol)

But if you would like more info, if you have a look at this thread, we do a blow by blow of each of the issues

And the issues about Faith and Giles are:
The whole No Future for You arc
and Issue #24 'Safe'
