News about a Buffy big-screen...

The reliable British newspaper,Sunday Times, mentions the following: "Angel and Buffy's creator, Joss Whedon,is pondering a big-screen Buffy that may include key British scenes".

Make of that what you will. But thats the first time I've seen the UK mentioned in conjunction with a big screen Buffy movie. But it could be just a mix up with the Ripper TV movie.

But the signs are becoming more and more clear that the Buffyverse will continue somehow. Happy Days ;-)

this better not be another hoax like the angel tv movies. grrr...i can't handle any more disappointments.
 
I dont think it is a hoax but with anything that deals with movies one thing I have learned is dont get your hopes up until there are actual actors signed and at least a shooting date announced, before that deals can always break through.

I dont doubt that somewhere in the future there will be a btvs movie franchise, not unlike Star Trek, it took Trek a while before the tv show became a movie. Maybe it will be a few more years before any serious movies are made.

p.s. BillieHunter I had Smarty Jones on two tickets, one as a straight up winner (paid well enough) and the other an exacta with Smarty Jones and Imperialism (who it looks like will not be taking part in the Preakness on the 15th)
Cant wait till Pimlico, will be riding the Smarty Jones wave until he loses. How can you go wrong he has yet to lose a race.
