The past few weeks have been up-and-down for a former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star.

Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander on the hit show, was arrested Friday in Boise, Idaho, for destroying property, according toTMZ. It is unclear what exactly he was doing.

The actor was reportedly charged with two misdemeanors, including resisting and obstructing officers.

Brendon, who recently joined the cast of MTV's Faking It, was in Boise for the weekend's Tree City Comic Con. He marriedMoonda Tee in Vegas earlier this month.

In 2010, he received a suspended one-year jail sentence stemming from a incident for which he was charged with four misdemeanors, including battery against a police officer and vandalism. He went to rehab in 2004 and 2010.

Brendon's reps did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The 43-year-old actor was arrested at a Comic-Con event in Idaho on Friday night, and was also charged with 'resisting or obstructing officers.' The arrest comes just a few weeks after he married his girlfriend in Las Vegas.

“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” starNicholas Brendon was arrested Friday night while attending a Tree City Comic-Con event in Boise, Idaho. TMZ was the first to report the news.

The 43-year-old star was charged with “malicious injury to property” and “resisting or obstructing officers.” His mugshot shows him to be in rough shape, with reddened eyes and mussed hair.

No word yet on what Brendon did that caused his arrest, but the incident occurred just a few weeks after he married his girlfriend Moonda Tee. E! Newsreports that the two tied the knotjust one week after he proposed.

This isn’t the “Buffy” star’s first time he’s had troubles with the law: In 2010, he was tasered and arrested by Los Angeles police after "causing a commotion" while intoxicated, which led him to check into rehab later that year.

Yeah, it seems a bit excessive for a broken plate, but it does sound like he was being quite belligerent to the hotel staff and then the police, which is just never a good plan.
