Nicholas Brendon Joins Cast of New Show

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Nicholas Brendon (news), who played Xander Harris on the hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," has been cast in a pilot for Fox. "Kitchen Confidential" centers on a bad-boy chef at a top New York restaurant. Brendon will play another chef at the eatery.

Its a shame that he won't be playing the bad-boy chef, it'd be nice to see him doing a different kind of personality. Ah well, good news anyway.

From the off it doesn't sound to interesting but I shall reserve judgement until I hear more and see something.

Bradley Cooper (Will Tippin from Alias) is going to play the title character.

How much do you guys want to bet he's the main characters wise-crackin' sidekick?

I hate when people get type-cast like that... *sigh*

Yeah, Jacklyn he probably is just as you explained him. I think that it helps that he can actually pull of a funny character, but I wish that people could just 'break out' sometimes, don't you?

Hopefully this will be a show that will do a lot for Nicholas. I get excited knowing the my fellow Buffyverse actors are finding more work after two years (even though I'd much rather prefer them in BtVS). It shall be interesting to see his character and the plot of the show.
