Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, has been speaking with TV Guide about the possibility of creating a movie based on the series.

"We've talked about it. I'm sure if it happens, it'd be in a couple of years." says Brendon. "If we do the Buffy film, I'm gonna be wearing an eye patch. Let's not have Willow just fix it [with magic]. Let's do the patch," referring to his eye accident in the TV series.

Asked if the cast members had signed on the dotted lines for the movie, he said. "No, no, no. Joss just always wanted to make the movie. We've only been off the air seven months, so we're just trying to catch our breath."

Oh very interesting. I don't know if Sarah would go for it. They all seem to be doing so well right now so how would they get everyone together for this. I still hope to see it though. That would be really cool.

Thanks for posting the information Faith!! I hope they all sign on for it. A film wouldl be really great to watch!!

So has to happen sometime in the future, everyone will sign up apart from SMG, and we all will be pulling our hair out!

Sarah is like Buffy, she has to be cookies...then she will accept to be Buffy again(<be with Angel>)😛 Thank you for the information Faith😉

Thank you Faith! I think that would rock!

I always wondered if it would work to have the Angel series end with a big movie...like the X Files had planned to do...I know they wouldn't but I think it'd be neat...🙂

Awesome news! I knew there were rumors, but this is the first time I have heard a cast member mention it as if it's a probability.

I think SMG would do it for sure. She seems to be ok with doing movies; I think she just wants to get out of TV.

Rayne - I read fairly recently that a second X-files film is on the cards. Don't know which agents it would feature - but Gillian Anderson's career hasn't exactly been on fire since it ended ...

I don't think Sarah has ever said that she will never play Buffy again guys - she just didn't want to do it this year as I understand it.

I think the Buffy/Angel film is more likely to happen if Joss's Firefly film gets out and does OK - fingers crossed, then...

Yeah... Sarah never said she didn't want to play Buffy again. She just wants to start a family and take a break. She had nothing againts any of the cast members, she just needed a break.
